Laurence has designed a relaxing reading space which features two bright orange, two-seater couches.

It is placed in front of a windowsill which features a portrait bust of Jackie by Sculptor Paul Kessling, given as a present for the Llewelyn-Bowen’s Wedding in 1989.

The space is then completed with a blue and white printed rug, which is from Laurence’s Privé collection for Royal Thai.

On the opposite side of the room, Laurence installed a huge bookcase, which featured a library ladder from the Library Ladder Company.

There is also a secret cocktail cabinet concealed behind a hinged painting.

The inside of the bookcases has been painted in Albany Dune Sea sourced from Brewers.

In the garden hall that interconnects with the drawing room, Laurence’s homage to his luscious Cotswold garden has inspired the rich colours of the cushions and rug available from House Llewelyn-Bowen via Next.

Their white table lamp, which has an ivory silk lampshade, is also sourced from the same shop.

Jackie and Laurence’s new duck egg blue kitchen occupies an Orangery extension by Conservatory And Window.

The kitchen is from the new LLB Quintessential kitchen range called Cuisine and it celebrates his love of fine food and travel with a nod to the warm and welcoming kitchens they remember from their 1970s childhoods.

The stunning vinyl floor ‘Festivo’ LLB is inspired by a recent trip to Andalucia and is now available from Harvey Maria.

Adding a unique touch to his design, LLB Gordon’s Green Shutterly Fabulous shutters have been used instead of doors.

The kitchen cupboards feature stylish gold handles, which he sourced from Hendle & Hendle.

Jackie and Laurence’s new Drawing Room occupies what used to be the old kitchen. The green wall mural, which was made by WallSmiths, is based on LLB’s paintings.

It’s beautifully printed with a colourful floral design which elegantly complements his vintage cupboards and bespoke rugs.

The room is tied together with a more modern window feature, as he installed shutters in Gordons Green from the LLB collection at Shutterly Fabulous.

Jackie and Laurence’s sunny dining room, which boasts a huge eight-seater dining room table, opens straight onto the garden terrace.

Laurence used flexible mouldings to give architectural interest to the ceiling and the wall mural, the palm court, uses motifs inspired by the antique rug.

He has the palm court wall mural to maximise the sense of space and light, as he joked that he is single-handedly bringing back the 1980s wallpaper border.

The landing, which was formerly a guest bedroom, has been decorated with LLB Glamoram paper featuring a continued romantic Arcadian landscape from LLB’s archive and an LLB bespoke-designed fitted carpet.

The pale blue landing is tied together with a dark brown oak chest of drawers and bright red lamps.

It also features cupboards from Caple, which LLB has customised with architectural prints and conceals the washing machine and dryer, a laundry sink, and a drying cupboard.

A small shower room off the first-floor corridor has become a grand Renaissance jewel box and features four of LLB’s romantic paintings on the reverse of acrylic by Wallsmiths.

Gala fittings from TJM Direct and a Karndean floor was installed to complete the unique look.

The bedroom is inspired by the LLB’s travels and is ‘their ultimate boutique hotel room’.

The Vaccannes pattern used throughout features elements from all their favourite places.

A Wendy Morrison bespoke rug and antique pelmets from Terry’s Fabrics hang LLB’s Vaccannes blinds. LLB Cinnibar shutters are also used to complete the look.

Hollywood regency wall lights from LA bring a touch of glamour, whilst the cinnabar red mounts on the suite of Venetian etchings continue the exotic travel theme.

In the bathroom, gala fittings and Marbelised tiles from TJM Direct continue the boutique style glam as he installed red, floral blinds from Terry’s Fabrics.

In the 1640s wing of the house is now home to Hermione and her family, husband Drew and Daughters Romilly and Eleanora.

Here, the palette of blues and greens has been designed as a subtle, practical background to boisterous family living.

LLB designed the hedgerovia fabric, which is now available from Terry’s Fabrics.

The window seats were painted in Albany Dune Sea by Brewers. He sourced the grey, textured wall covering from Galerie Home.

While Laurence has designed every inch of his home to reflect personal momentos to the family, he has recently revealed he no longer owns the home.

He explained that he has signed away two-thirds of his sprawling Cotswolds manor house to his two sons-in-law.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, Laurence mused: ‘I’m no longer lord of the manor,’ as he detailed his unique living arrangement.

Hermione revealed: ‘Hilariously, Cecile and I aren’t on the deeds, because we inherit it anyway — it’s actually the husbands.’

Laurence then explained: ‘One of the most amusing things was having to sit down with a solicitor for them to assess whether Jackie and I were being coerced into this by our bullying sons-in-law.

‘Our friends just can’t believe it. They go, “what happens if you all fall out?”‘

Yet Hermione explained that while they bicker all the time, they simply have to ‘get over it’.

Detailing why he wanted to pass on his property now, Laurence – who has an estimated net worth of £8 million – shared: ‘We’re not going to be those old people sitting on a great big pile of cash. Terribly unhappy, terribly lonely.

‘Owning a lot of stuff but not actually having the benefit of it. We are very, very privileged, but we have made this decision. We have manifested this life.”

His decision to reassess his finances and assets comes after Laurence confessed in January that he is going through an ‘end of life crisis’ following a near-death experience on Netflix show Bear Hunt.

During filming in Costa Rica in May last year, Laurence was among celebrities taking part in a water challenge and was told to leap from a boat into the river.

However, he became entangled in a bungee rope and got stuck underneath the boat.

He was dragged underwater for several heart-stopping minutes before being pulled to safety by members of the team supervising the stunt, and he lost consciousness.
