Lauren Goodger says: ‘men all want me naked, I may as well make some money out of it’ as she opens up about OnlyFans – but insists she’s still just ‘the girl next door’

Lauren Goodger has opened up about her motivations behind working on X-rated subscription site OnlyFans.

The former TOWIE star, 39, joined the site five years ago and discusses her work on Olivia Attwood’s new ITV2 series Getting Filthy Rich.

She makes around £30,000 a month on the platform and has now said it doesn’t hugely bother her after doing racy magazine covers in the past.

She told The Mirror at the launch of Olivia’s new series: ‘It’s actually not that bad – having only a few hundred fans on there, paying a higher price, I would rather that than thousands of people having access. Because it is only me showing my boobs.’

‘I’m not being funny, but I’ve been on the front of magazine covers for the last 10 years. Like on Closer mag – I was naked, anyway! They all want me naked. So, what difference does it make? I might as well make money out of it!

‘I was – I still am – the girl next door. I’m quite a home girl.’

She added that content makers like Lily Phillips can earn more through more extreme pictures and videos but Lauren says she ‘doesn’t have the guts to do that’.

Olivia recently opened up about the ‘most shocking fetish ever’ that left her ‘speechless’ filming her upcoming X-rated sex work documentary with the likes of Lauren, Katie Price and Kerry Katona. 

Getting Filthy Rich, which premiered on ITV2 in 2022, is returning to our screens very soon with a highly-anticipated fourth series. 

So far the docu-series has seen Olivia, 34, delve into the world of the sex industry, with a number of episodes on topics such as OnlyFans, porn, cam girls, sugar babies, and dominatrix.

Although she’s ticked off many discussion points within adult content, the Bad Boyfriends host has managed to find some other ‘kinks, trends and controversies’ to do a ‘deep dive’ into this time around. 

Speaking with the Daily Mail and other press ahead of the new series, Olivia teased: ‘We go and out to Vegas, which is one of my favorite episodes, and we do the Vegas sex industry, a real deep dive.

‘So we cover areas that we’ve covered before. So I meet with escort strippers, porn stars, but very much like focusing on that hub, that economy, in Vegas, which is with the backdrop of Vegas, it’s really fun. It’s really kitsch and glam.

‘But the stories are really interesting of this whole economy that’s like thriving there.’

One episode in the new six-part series is just focused on feet – something that Olivia isn’t a huge fan of. 

She continued: ‘We obviously do the feet episode, which was one that I was so reluctant to do, because I hate feet. 

‘But I knew when I used to talk to my Instagram and followers and be like, ‘Hey, if we do another series, what is it you want?’

‘Everyone was like, ‘Talk about the feet. What’s going on? What can people make?!’

‘So we did that. I had six weeks of people getting their shoes off in front of me, which is for me, a personal challenge.’

Another episode sees Olivia catch up with some of our favourite famous faces who use over 18 subscription site OnlyFans. 

‘Then obviously the celebrity episode where we meet with household names like Kerry Katona, Katie Price, Lauren Goodger,’ Olivia continued.

‘We hear their side of the story from their mouth, rather than just like the little snippets we see in the press, the little snippets we see online.

‘It’s actually hearing their experience, first hand, their motivation for being on the site, what they’re earning, and they were all so candid. 

‘It was a privilege.’

Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry joined the site back in 2020 and it has gone on to make her a millionaire. 

Last year she opened up about how much money she’s made, telling Paul C. Brunson on his podcast We Need To Talk, she said: ‘I made about 175 grand in the first month. 

‘I’ve made millions. I’ve made millions on it and I’ll continue to do it because it’s just too much money to turn down.’

Meanwhile former glamour model Katie joined OnlyFans back in 2022. 

Speaking about the reason why at the time, she said: ‘I want to make a stand for all women.’ She added: ‘It’s not all slutty, or whatever anyone wants to say it is.

‘I think people have to be educated about what it’s all about and it’s not all that. So if you want that type of thing don’t subscribe to me because you won’t be seeing any slutty stuff on there.

‘I am actually pure. I am actually innocent in a lot of things,’ she added. ‘I am in full control of my whole life. OnlyFans, it’s something that I was born to do. You all know I’m bloody good at it. It’s what made me.’

Olivia has described it as the most ‘shocking series’ to date, and everything they film pretty much makes it on screen. 

She confessed: ‘Nothing ever doesn’t make the cut. It’s just cut very artistically.

‘We meet a guy in the feet episode that has a fetish of basically being kicked in the balls. So I watch in real time him getting kicked in the balls.

‘I’m literally watching that two meters away, so it’s in, but obviously, it goes through so many different cuts to see how we can really explicitly show you what’s happening without showing too much…

‘But we do show a lot, but things like that, I think people’s fetishes, there’s no limits to what people are into. And I think every time I think I’ve heard the thing that I think for me personally, and I’m no judgement ever…  

‘Every time I think I’ve seen or heard the most unusual thing, then we find the story where I’m like, ‘Okay, no, that is not the most unusual thing, this is!’.

‘The feet thing in general, we met with this guy who was kicked out of the army for creating OnlyFans content. And he’s selling his really dirty socks for crazy money.

‘When he had the socks off his feet the whole room stunk, and someone would buy them for hundreds of pounds.’ 

She added: ‘This is series four of this franchise. When we were in development, I was like, ‘Are we going to have enough… bringing people back in for a fourth series, as you know, in this climate, is not an easy feat.

‘We need to reveal new things to people. They need to learn something else. We don’t just tread over old ground and, my gosh, I thought I couldn’t be shocked anymore, because I think I’ve seen so much.

‘I’m speechless so many times through this series. 

‘And I’m enlightened, and I’m shocked, and I’m learning things, I have to say, I think this is probably the most shocking series today, if I’m honest.

‘I think we cover some really unusual, quirky areas, and then we go kind of deeper into areas that we’ve actually already covered, but in a different way.’
