Lauren Goodger has refused to rule out reuniting with her ex-boyfriend Charles Drury as she admitted she will ‘always’ love him.
The former TOWIE star, 37, responded to speculation she had rekindled her romance with Charles, 26, after they were seen out with their daughter Larose, two, in recent weeks.
Lauren and Charles were seen together last month in his first public outing since he was charged with assaulting her on the day of their baby daughter Lorena’s funeral.
Despite insisting they are just ‘good friends’ and are co-parenting Larose, Lauren didn’t rule out them rekindling things as she said she ‘doesn’t know what the future holds’.
She told new! magazine: ‘We’re not together, we’re good friends and we’re co-parenting for Larose, we’re doing as much as we can together to keep her life normal and that is purely what it is.’

When asked if they would get back together, she added: ‘Not right now, I don’t know what the future holds, I’ll always love him.
‘You’ve got to understand what I’ve been through – there’s that trauma – so it’s hard to break away from someone.’
Lauren said they still ‘get on’ and still have a lot of love for each other as she said she is trying to do things as a family for the sake of their daughter Larose.
Looking towards the future, Lauren said she also wants to have more children and get married, admitting she hopes to be a housewife.
Charles and Lauren had a tumultuous relationship and they had been on-and-off since the tragic death of their second daughter, Lorena in July 2022.
Earlier this year, it was reported Lauren had been ‘begged’ by her friends to ‘not get back together with Charles after he reportedly spent the night at her house.
A source revealed to The Sun at the time: ‘Lauren’s friends have begged her not to get back together with her ex Charles Drury after they heard Charles had spent the night at her house this week.
‘A few of them reached out to her and told her to stay away from him as they feel like he is bad news and will only bring her more heartache.

‘Lauren insisted that he just slept in the spare room and that they are working on co-parenting Larose, but those closest to her know she and Charles are growing closer. They feel it’s only a matter of time before they are back together.’
A representative for Lauren told MailOnline: ‘Lauren is focused on the welfare as a mother to her daughter- this puts co- parenting at the top of her priorities.’
Lauren’s ex Charles was charged with inflicting actual bodily harm on Lauren on August 4, 2022, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
He is also charged with engaging in ‘controlling or coercive behaviour’ against Lauren between August 1, 2020 and August 5, 2022.
Charles pleaded not guilty to the charges during a brief preliminary hearing at the court in the east London borough of Redbridge.
While ‘personally connected’ to her, the indictment claims he ‘engaged in behaviour towards Lauren Goodger that was controlling or coercive which had a serious effect’ on her.

It alleges he ’caused Lauren Goodger to fear, on at least two occasions, that violence will be used against’ her, ‘at a time when he knew or ought to have known that the behaviour’ would have a ‘serious effect’ on her.
The second charge states that he ‘assaulted Lauren Goodger thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm’ on August 4 2022. It was the day after the couple buried their daughter Lorena.
Charles appeared in court in July where he spoke only to confirm his name and enter his pleas.
Judge Oscar Del Fabbro adjourned the case ahead of a further pre-trial hearing at the same court on February 12, 2024, followed by a trial, listed for five days, starting on March 18, 2024. He released Charles on unconditional bail.
