He explained: ‘I’m protective, whether it’s Laura, or my family, my friends.
‘I want to get married. I want to have kids as well. I’ve always thought, what type of person will I be? How can I protect my kids?
‘Obviously I’ve never had a kid, but I don’t think I’ll be plastering it all over [social media]. I want them to have a fair fight and a chance not to be judged straight away.
‘As long as my really close circle knows exactly who I am, I don’t care. I think you have to take everything with a pinch of salt.’
Adam added that he is not concerned about the eight age gap between himself and Laura: ‘We are not necessarily the average everyday couple. We’re both doing a lot and I think that I’ve always been beyond my years anyway, I think it’s probably exactly everything that I’ve needed for a long time.’
Adam went on to discuss his ex girlfriend Zara McDermott and how he had a ‘Z’ tattoo on his hand dedicated to her.
After they split he quickly got it covered up, but hasn’t ruled out getting another tattoo dedicated to his current partner.
He said: ‘I came out of the villa, and Zara had ‘AC’ on her finger. I thought I would repay the favour, considering I’d stayed in the villa for an extra 12 days.

‘I’ve got it covered though – it’s the second time I’ve done it, and I’ll probably do it again.’
Adam broke his silence over his whirlwind romance with ITV sports presenter Laura in October and declared her ‘The One’.
He told The Sun: ‘The first time we met – I’ll hold my hands up – I did DM her first and got a reply but then nothing ever happened’.
They then met in person and reality star said he didn’t use any of his old moves for the simple reason he ‘really liked’ Laura, 36, revealing things were now getting ‘serious’ between them.
He said: ‘I would never get in a relationship with someone at least at one point [unless] I thought they were The One’.
The blossoming romance eventually became public, after Laura accidentally posted a slew of loved up snaps before quickly deleting.
Adam admitted: ‘I’m kind of glad in a way [the relationship is out in the open] as I feel like there’s an element of having to hide too much now’.
