She included loved-up snaps with him in the post as well as posing with her adorable daughter in others.

Laura penned in the caption: ‘Not your usual New Year post but this is all I had time to collate. Instead of sharing pictures to tell a story, I’ll just tell you in words.

‘2024 wasn’t easy. I became a single parent which I never thought would be my life. Bonnie and I ran off to Dubai which I always do when I’m sad.

‘I had an epiphany and made a conscious decision not to be a victim because i knew I had to create an incredible life for my incredible daughter. I got my dream job as a Radio Presenter, topped listener figures, featured on a billboard, a tram and did my first outdoor broadcast at the 02.

‘My mum and I went on holiday for the first time in years, 3 generations of fun, it was really special. Bonnie started eating food, began walking and we celebrated her first birthday in style.

‘I then fell in love with a handsome chap named Clark that I swear I somehow manifested.

‘If that was in pictures it’d look pretty good but I missed out on many work opportunities, more importantly special moments with my daughter and co-parenting/financial support didn’t exist.

‘I struggle everyday like most to find the perfect balance in life. I definitely put the euromillions on last night hoping to win-thinking all my problems would disappear but that’s not reality. So starting my vision board today I’m sitting still and really thinking about what will make me happy next year. I just want Bonnie to be happy, to be healthy and soooo safe so whatever that entails I’m in! Cheers to another year that we’re very lucky to have.

‘P.s You could be a millionaire entrepreneur, viral, abtastic, big lipped, business person dripping in Cartier and own 5 birkans but, I truly believe although striving for success is great-its also exhausting and a ‘mediocre’ life is pretty great too!

‘All we really need is love.. so in 2025 don’t put too much pressure on yourself or those around you because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed and we are all just trying our best and winging each precious day.’

Gary Lucy has been contacted b
y MailOnline for comment.

In September Gary hit back at a cruel troll after he was accused of not seeing his little daughter Bonnie.

Scottish TV star Laura took to her Instagram in July responding to a comment as she claimed Gary, 43, hadn’t seen his daughter since early January.

Responding to a troll who questioned whether Bonnie ever sees her father, Laura replied: ‘Do you mean has her daddy seen her…. No he hasn’t since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others x.’

A representative for Gary declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline at the time.

Then in September the EastEnders star broke his silence on the matter when a cruel troll commented below an Instagram clip of his children.

The very sweet clip captured his son playing with Bonnie, who was laying in a bouncer.

‘When Theodore got to be the big Brother for the day …. If this doesn’t melt your heart I don’t know what will ♥️,’ he captioned.

The post was flooded with touching comments, yet a negative one caught Gary’s eye.

‘Funny you keep posting videos but you never see her,’ a person wrote – but the actor was quick to reply: ‘Nope only you ‘shaz’ everyone else seemed to just enjoy a lovely video ….

‘I’ll block ya in a bit … then ya can set up a new email / insta profile so ya can keep a bitter twisted eye on my page.’

He went on adding in another comment below: ‘Course she does .. she’s invested hours n hours on ppls ‘instagram lives’ that’s gotta going for something right ….. oh wait.’

One fan raced in his support, commenting: ‘Sounds like the Gary police are out in force today, leave the man alone, if you don’t like what he posts then don’t look and unfollow, I’m sure he won’t give a, its his profile, he can post what he likes. Rant over.’

Laura previously detailed the challenges she’s faced raising Bonnie as a single parent after she and Gary split before she was born.

She told The Mirror: ‘I think it was hard to get my head around initially, it wasn’t what I expected. But that’s the cards I was dealt in the end. Of course, I’m going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I’m a really good mum, to be honest.’

Offering advice to other parents facing the same challenges, she added: ‘Prioritise what you need to do, it’s just me. I have to make it work. I am tired but of course, I’m going to be tired. I’m bringing up a human soul, that’s what I signed up for.’

‘[Bonnie’s] great, your social life does take a little bit of a backseat but most people, your good friends understand that.’

‘Think how many mums out there are struggling with that work-life balance, it’s not just me. It’s so relatable and that’s the best thing about ‘Love Island’, having a social media following, I’ve really understood it more since having a baby. It’s so nice to resonate and it really is a positive place.’

‘It’s just full of mums, it’s not all about ‘you’re trying to look sexy all the time’ because that’s not important.’

Gary fuelled rumours they had split after he was seen cosying up to a mystery woman at a party earlier this year.

‘Gary looked very cosy with a girl at the table and was whispering in her ear. He was clearly here for a fun night and didn’t care who was watching,’ a source told MailOnline at the time.

Meanwhile Laura was busy posting videos and photos from her day with their baby girl.

The couple announced they were having a baby in February 2023, but split shortly after.
