Laura Anderson has revealed that she felt ‘attacked’ when her ex Gary Lucy announced their break-up while she was pregnant.
The Love Island star, 35, and the EastEnders actor, 42, who share daughter Bonnie, nine months, first met on Celebs Go Dating in 2022.
Laura has now revealed that she feels she was stripped of the pregnancy she had envisioned because Gary made their split public without informing her.
Speaking to Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton on Made By Mammas: The Podcast, she said: ‘Technically me and Gary did plan to have Bonnie and we were really happy and excited and it was around Christmas time. I knew straight away and took a test.
‘I was so excited to become a mum, I feel like I’m going to cry if I talk about this but the personal stuff with her dad, I always envisioned having my partner there and like it being all about you being pregnant but I didn’t have that.’

Laura continued: ‘We broke up for a reason. He made it public without telling me he was going to tell everyone that we weren’t together the same day we were going to announce that I was pregnant.
‘Even though we weren’t technically together I was hoping we would work it out but as soon as he put it out into the public it felt like an attack and like we’re not going to work this out, its now public and he did that the day we were going to announce I was pregnant.
‘So what should have been a magical time and behind the scenes might have been a little bit difficult it then turned into a media circus of negativity.
‘I was trolled because of the way we broke up I never really said anything negative because I was vulnerable and wanted our relationship to work and was scared to say anything.’
Laura went onto reveal that trolls targeted her for being ‘desperate’ to have a baby due to her previously speaking about doing IVF while with her ex Dane Bowers.
She continued: ‘[Trolls would say] “you must be so desperate to have kids”, and then because I met Gary and we had a child quickly, it made this narrative.
‘She was planned. I just felt like I failed, slightly before I even got started. She wasn’t even here yet, and I felt that I’ve not given her that basic right.
‘I also don’t think it is my fault that we are not together.
‘I think looking back I would have ideally gotten married first and done the norm, it was probably rushed but we fell in love and it was all very romantic.’

It comes after Laura claimed Gary hadn’t seen their baby daughter Bonnie in almost six months.
The reality TV star took to her Instagram to hit back at a troll and claimed he hadn’t seen his daughter since early January.
Responding to a troll who questioned whether Bonnie ever sees her father, Laura replied: ‘Do you mean has her daddy seen her….
‘No he hasn’t since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others x.’
A representative for Gary declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
Laura previously detailed the challenges she’s faced raising Bonnie as a single parent after she and Gary split before she was born.
She told The Mirror: ‘I think it was hard to get my head around initially, it wasn’t what I expected. But that’s the cards I was dealt in the end. Of course, I’m going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I’m a really good mum, to be honest.’
Offering advice to other parents facing the same challenges, she added: ‘Prioritise what you need to do, it’s just me. I have to make it work. I am tired but of course, I’m going to be tired. I’m bringing up a human soul, that’s what I signed up for.’
‘[Bonnie’s] great, your social life does take a little bit of a backseat but most people, your good friends understand that.’
