Larry Emdur was reminiscing about the good old days on Monday.
The Morning Show star waxed lyrical about his time as a youth in the Sydney locale of Ben Buckler, a strip of heritage-listed land which is part of North Bondi.
The 59-year-old recalled surfing the local waves, splashing in the pools – and having sex in the carpark by the beach.
The television host confessed he lost his virginity at Ben Buckler in a not so romantic locale.
‘Check out this awesome old pic of Ben Buckler at North Bondi, before roads, before buildings, before double shot decaf frappuccinos, before Brazilians (the tourists or the waxes)’ he wrote in a lengthy caption alongside retro images of the region.

‘Ben Buckler was my life, the centre of my universe, we lived there, I learnt to swim in the babies’ pool (may have p**d in there a few times).
‘My first job ($5 for 4hrs) was delivering newspapers around there, I learnt to surf just off those rocks, I hid there when I wagged school, I lost my virginity in the carpark (romantic, I know)’ he went on.
‘I had a special rock I would sit on for hours and hours, I’d watch the waves roll in, solve all my problems, dream about what my life might be like when I grow up and come up with crazy ideas.
‘My bachelor pad is on Ben Buckler, [wife] Sylvie and I started our life together there. It’s funny (crazy) to think how much of my life happened right here.’

Larry and Sylvie met in the 1990s on a plane while she was working as a flight attendant.
The television host and his wife have been married since 1995 and have two children, son Jye and daughter Tia.
Larry and Sylvie celebrated their 29th anniversary last year.
In an interview for The Sunday Telegraph’s Body+Soul, the couple revealed they have a pact to create memories by doing something crazy every year while they can.
‘We decided we need to do at least one completely crazy thing each year so that we’ll have some ridiculously good stories to remind each other about when we’re in the nursing home,’ Larry said.
