Lana Del Rey is daydreaming about having a baby with her boat captain husband Jeremy Dufrene.
As she prepares to turn 40 in June, a source told the Daily Mail that the singer is ‘really starting to think about having children.’
‘Sure, she could always adopt or go through a surrogate, but she is very interested in doing things the old-fashioned way and is looking to start a family sometime in 2026,’ the insider revealed.
‘There isn’t a set date in time that she’d like to be pregnant, but “soon” is on the cards, since the clock is ticking,’ they continued.
The Grammy nominee is said to be leaning on her faith when it comes to family planning and, ultimately, ‘is going to take what comes to her as God’s plan.’

Still, the source noted that the superstar ‘is going to try to have children in the next year, and if it happens, she will be elated.’
For now, though, ‘she is going to put all her effort and time’ into her 2025 tour – ‘is the first thing on her list.’
‘If you were to ask her about it, she is excited to go on tour,’ the source noted. ‘In a few months, her mind will be able to focus on family.’
Representatives for Del Rey have not responded to the Daily Mail’s request for comment.
On Wednesday, Del Rey appeared to be envisioning life with her own future little one while spending quality time with her niece, Phoenix, 3, and sister Caroline ‘Chuck’ Grant.
As she strolled around Los Feliz, California, with her family, Dufrene, 49, smiled as he saw his wife fawning over Phoenix.
Del Rey has a close relationship with Phoenix, who has been pictured by her side getting ready for photo shoots, events and at family gatherings.
Earlier this month, Grant, 37, shared an adorable snap of Phoenix giving her aunt a big hug as she prepared to head off to the Met Gala in New York City.

Although Del Rey does not have children of her own, her husband, whom she married last year at the same Louisiana bayou where they first met in 2019, has a son and two daughters from a previous relationship.
In a December 2023 interview with Culture magazine, Del Rey, opened up about motherhood.
‘That’s why God didn’t give me children yet. Because there is more to explore,’ she said.
The musician went on to confirm that she did see herself becoming a mother one day as she teased, ‘We’ll see what melts the wings.’
Prior to tying the knot with Dufrene, she was engaged to talent agency managing partner Evan Winiker.
Although she never confirmed when they split, they appeared to call off their wedding plans sometime in 2023 after about a year of dating.

Del Rey’s relationship with Winiker reportedly began a few months before the romance was confirmed, and on March 1, 2023, she debuted a beautiful diamond ring while attending the Billboard Women In Music Awards.
At the time, Winiker had a close friendship with Jack Antonoff, who frequently collaborates with Del Rey and worked on her album Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.
Before that, the singer was linked to musician Jack Donaghue, who is a member of the electronic band Salem.
Del Rey and Donaghue were said to be seeing each other in early 2022, but she remained silent on the relationship and the exact time of their breakup remains unclear.
Prior to her fling with Donaghue, she was in a relationship with Country singer Clayton Johnson.

The pair allegedly met on a dating app in 2020 and were rumored to be engaged later that year before going their separate ways. Del Rey never addressed the breakup.
The singer’s relationship history also includes Scottish singer-songwriter Barrie-James O’Neill (2011-2014), Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini (2014-2015), a brief relationship with the rapper G-Eazy in 2017 and a whirlwind romance with Live PD star and former cop Sean ‘Sticks’ Larkin (2019-2020).
Speaking to Rolling Stone in 2014, Del Rey said she has ‘an affinity for really good, strong, self-assured people.’
Also, she simply loves being in a relationship. Del Rey told Harper’s Bazaar that she likes ‘to come home and have someone there.’
In her 2023 song Fingertips, she touched on anxiety, motherhood, mental illness and doubts over her ability to parent: ‘Will I have one of mine?/ Can I handle it even if I do?/ Is not fit, or so they said, to carry a child/ I guess I’ll be fine.’
