Del Rey would again lose out to another huge pop star for the Song Of The Year category that went to Billie Eilish for her song What Was I Made For? that she wrote with brother and collaborator, Finneas O’Connell.
Swift and Lana Del Rey first connected at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, as reported by several publications, including MTV, and have been fans of each other ever since.

Antonoff helped facilitate they ladies to work together, resulting in the Summertime Sadness singer being featured on Swift’s song Snow On The Beach that was released on her Midnights (2022) album.
‘She was very adamant that she wanted me to be on the album, and I really liked that song,’ Del Rey said, as reported by J-14. I thought it was nice to be able to bridge that world, since Jack [Antonoff] and I work together and so do Jack and Taylor.’
Antonoff, 39, first worked with Swift when they co-wrote the song Sweeter Than Fiction (2013) for the biographical film One Chance.

There working relationship has continued with their collaboration on her records Folklore (2020), Evermore (2020) and Midnights (2022).
As for Del Rey, her work with Anronoff started with him helping produce her studio album Norman Fucking Rockwell! (2019), and co-writing many of the songs.
He also produced Del Rey’s subsequent albums Chemtrails Over the Country Club (2021) and Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd (2023).
With her two new Grammys, which also included for Best Pop Vocal Album, Taylor Swift now has won 14 Grammy Awards over the course of her career that dates back to 2010.
