Lana Del Rey Shares Wedding Photos with Alligator Tour Guide for First Anniversary

Lana Del Rey has shared never before seen photos from her Louisiana nuptials to alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. 

The 40-year-old songstress – who recently enjoyed a romantic date night with her husband in Los Angeles – jumped to her main Instagram page on Friday to unveil intimate snaps from the special day. 

The couple tied the knot last year on September 26 on the Louisiana bayou where Jeremy also operates his swamp boat tours.

Just one month before the wedding, the Born To Die hitmaker officially went public with their romance. 

In one black and white image, the newlyweds were seen cozying up together shortly after saying ‘I do’ while sitting on a boat. 

The pair flashed big smiles for the camera as Lana wore her custom wedding gown and her husband donned a suit. 

Another picture was taken as he leaned in to plant a sweet kiss on the side of her face in a romantic gesture. 

The reception took place outdoors and the lovebirds could be seen feeding each other a piece of their wedding cake. 

Lana was also seen posing in her custom CINQ wedding dress that had an off-the-shoulder neckline with lace details and a full skirt. 

She sat on the floor of a carpeted room as the gown pooled around her while a dressing gown and candelabra was placed directly behind her. 

One black and white image was taken as Lana and Jeremy held a conversation while sitting on what appeared to be a porch outside. 

The performer included a variety of pictures as she posed with other guests who were in attendance at the nuptials. 

She was supported by Jack Antonoff – who she has collaborated with on some of her albums such as Norman F***ing Rocket and Chemtrails Over The Country Club.

In a colorized snap, Lana sat on the floor in her eye-catching gown while surrounded by two guests who were also potentially the bridesmaids. 

The singer gave her fans a glimpse at the two layer cake which was covered in a white sugary icing and had a depiction of a log cabin on the front. 

Light pink floral details were also added on the front of the cake while ‘Jeremy and Lana’ was written on the bottom in green icing. 

She showed off a full perfume bottle that had ‘Love on the Bayou 09.26.24’ written on one side. 

Lana first met Jeremy in 2019 when she performed at the Buku Music + Art Project event in Louisiana. 

And while in town, she decided to go on one of his swamp boat tours.

She went on another tour last year in May and shared a photo from the excursion with the caption, ‘Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene.’ 

‘When Lana revisited the area in May to perform at Hangout Fest, they were both single and they reconnected,’ a source told the Daily Mail. 

‘He saw his golden opportunity and asked her out and they have been together since. She loves older men.’ 

Initially, the star’s close pals and team ‘did some digging on him over fears he could be using her.’

However, ‘his business is lucrative and he doesn’t need or want Lana’s money. They can see he treats her right and he’s very, very low maintenance. He gives her what she is seeking in a man and is romantic.’ 

One month before tying the knot, the pair seemingly went public with their relationship when they were spotted in London together after her performance at the Leeds Festival. 

On the wedding day – which took place in Des Allemandes, Louisiana – Lana was walked down the aisle by her father Robert Grant. 

She wore the custom CINQ gown and held a white floral bouquet in her hands. The couple exchanged vows underneath a shady tent as the late afternoon sun shone down on the newlyweds and guests at the time. 

Afterwards, Lana and Jeremy strolled hand-in-hand towards the outdoor wedding reception. 

The Video Games singer had also added a light blue ribbon in her brunette locks for ‘something blue.’ 

Last month in August, Lana opened up about her marriage to Jeremy during an interview with W Magazine.  

‘Like many people who work with large, dangerous beasts, Jeremy has a calm, strong presence,’ she said. 

‘When we met, I realized pretty immediately that I loved him, but that it might get difficult because of what I was bringing to the table.’ 

However, Jeremy had told her in response to her worries, ‘I work with alligators – I have tough skin.’ 

The singer gushed that her husband ‘is a man of his word. All the things that made me upset – and there were so many! – he would just listen and say, “You be you – and I’ll just love you more.”‘ 

Lana also shared that, ‘Jeremy is the most impactful person in my life. He’s quiet in public, but around me he talks all the time.’ 

Earlier this month, the couple were spotted enjoying a lowkey date night at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. 

The pair were seen exiting the iconic location in a white vehicle as they headed to their next destination. 

Lana flashed a big smile on her face as she sat in the passenger seat and at one point, rolled down the window to briefly greet fans awaiting nearby.
