As Lady Gaga plans her wedding to fiancé Michael Polansky, she is looking forward to becoming a mother.
The 39-year-old singer-turned-actress admitted to Stephen Colbert in an on-air interview for The Late Show that she is most looking forward to motherhood.
When asked if she’d like to continue acting in movies or performing on Broadway, she answered, ‘I would like to do many things, yeah, all of these things. But, what I really want is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.’
And she raved about her future spouse, ‘He’s my best friend in the whole world. What can you say about your best friend?’
The songstress went on to explain that she feels ’empowered as a woman in music with a beautiful partner that has my back every day.’
Recalling their 2019 meeting, she shared, ‘He just blew me away from the minute that I met him. He always, I think, really saw me and I think I always really saw him.’

The couple was first romantically linked around New Year’s Eve 2019 and later went Instagram official in early 2020.
Polansky is a 2006 graduate of Harvard University and runs Napster founder Sean Parker’s Parker Group.
Throughout their years of dating, Gaga and Polansky have attended the Super Bowl, the BAFTAs, and the Critics Choice Awards together.
In August 2024 it was reported that wedding plans for the couple were underway and the prenup was being negotiated.
Gaga is reportedly seeking a legal agreement to secure her $900 million fortune before she walks down the aisle.
And Polansky, who has a $600 million net worth as head of The Parker Foundation, is on board.
A source close to the couple told In Touch last year that ‘there are a lot of assets on both sides, and a prenup will just make everything clear.’
Gaga ‘is worth $900 million, so of course there needs to be a prenup in place,’ the insider said. ‘And Michael understands that. He’s not resisting it.’

And in a heartfelt caption shared with her 61.3 million followers, she wrote, ‘Happy Birthday to my honey.
‘I hope 42 is your best year yet. You have done so much in your 42 years. I am so proud of you every day — and so grateful for this day you came into the world, it was the most special day.’
She gushed, ‘This is my favorite day of the year! A crisp and almost rainy day, a long walk, with the backdrop of a sweet birthday smile and lots of laughter and angel food cake with chocolate sauce.’
Gaga concluded the sweet note by writing, ‘I love you,’ and adding a red-lip kiss emoji.
