Lady Gaga and Jenna Ortega’s Ultimate Goth Looks at Wednesday Graveyard Gala

Lady Gaga and Jenna Ortega were the ultimate goth girls while attending Spotify and Netflix’s Wednesday Graveyard Gala at Guastavino’s in New York City on Thursday.

The singer, 39, joined the lead star, 22, at the gala event for season 2 of the fan-favorite show, where she is set to make a cameo.

Gaga also announced that her new single, The Dead Dance — which is set to feature on the show — will release on September 3, the same day Part Two of the second season drops.

The superstar made a dramatic entrance in a structured black chiffon look featuring a corset and silver details as well as tulle bloomers. The outfit featured a ruffled neck and long sheer billowing sleeves.

She paired it with a jester-like black hat with a whimsical green accent at the top. The pop singer added height to her look with platform boots.

Her platinum blonde tresses tumbled out from underneath the hat in neat curls, and she tied the look together with pale makeup and dark lipstick.

Meanwhile, Jenna stunned in a skintight, gray tie-dye gown that featured ruching at the bust.

Her dark hair was gelled into a head-turning wet look.

The actress drew attention to her magnetic eyes with dark eyeshadow.

The back of her dress featured large, diagonal cutouts running all the way down to her lower back.

While at the event Gaga confirmed the release of her new single.

‘I had a wonderful time working on Wednesday Season Two, even just being a small part of the show. I loved working with Tim Burton and Jenna and everyone here, it’s so incredible. Thank you,’ she told the crowd, according to Rolling Stone magazine.

‘I’m also here to confirm my song “The Dead Dance” is coming.’

Though the first four episodes of Wednesday have already been released, Gaga has yet to make an appearance, leaving fans hopeful that she will debut in the next four installments.

There are a total of eight episodes as part of the latest series, but only four were dropped to start with.

Those who have watched the show have given it a whopping 78% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Daily Mail’s Christopher Stevens awarded the series four out of five stars and praised it’s superstar cameos.

The much-loved series follows the life of Wednesday Addams (Jenna).

It’s based at her boarding school Nevermore Academy, a remote castle where children with magical abilities learn to develop their powers.

Some are werewolves, others are gorgons who can turn victims to stone. Wednesday can move objects with her mind and has psychic visions, but that’s tame compared to her younger brother, Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez). He can bring the dead to life with a touch.

It originally hit our screens on Netflix back in November 2022.

In January 2023, a second installment was promised but fans have waited two more years for the new series.

Joining Jenna is Joanna Lumley and Steve Buscemi for the new season, as well as returning cast member Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The show also stars the likes of Luis Guzmán, Emma Myers, Steve Buscemi, Victor Dorobantu, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer and Hunter Doohan.

The official synopsis states: ‘Smart, sarcastic and a little dead inside, Wednesday Addams investigates a murder spree while making new friends — and foes — at Nevermore Academy.’

Wednesday part one is streaming on Netflix now, while the second follows September third.
