Kylie Minogue’s highly anticipated 16th album Tension released this week and the Australian pop princess appeared on Sunrise on Monday to promote it.
Speaking to hosts Matt ‘Shirvo’ Shirvington and Natalie Barr, Kylie gave an answer to the question on quite a few fans’ lips: what does ‘padam’ from her song Padam Padam actually mean?
‘It really is amazing, it’s just exploded across the world and there are now calls for it to be added to the dictionary. What would you like to see the definition be,’ host Nat Barr asked Kylie.
‘No one knows what it means,’ quipped Kylie.
Shirvo was about to ask her what she thought it meant, before Kylie replied ‘I think its beauty is it means “whatever.”‘
