Kylie Jenner shared some unexpected music choices on Friday as fans have noticed that her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet hasn’t been seen with her in at least a month.
The 27-year-old Kardashians star — who will turn 28 on Sunday, August 10 — revealed in her Instagram Stories on Friday that she was listening to back-to-back breakup songs.
She shared the tunes just hours after posting a steamy set of thirst traps in which she flaunted her toned midriff while enjoying a glass of red wine.
First up was the late Jeff Buckley’s song Lover, You Should’ve Come Over, from his iconic 1994 album Grace, the only LP he completed and released before his death by accidental drowning in 1997.
Buckley’s song includes lines like, ‘Maybe I’m too young / To keep good love from going wrong / But tonight you’re on my mind / So you never know,’ and ‘Broken down and hungry for your love / With no way to feed it / Where are you tonight, child? / You know how much I need it.’
The chorus also expresses feelings of longing for an absent lover, possibly after a breakup: ‘Lover, you should’ve come over / ‘Cause it’s not too late.’

The reality star — who turns 28 on Sunday, August 10 — curiously posted screenshots of the tunes she was listening to after she and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet (pictured with her in Rome on May 7) haven’t been pictured together in around a month
Kylie followed up the classic Grace cut with a screenshot of the British singer–songwriter Labi Siffre’s 1972 single Crying Laughing Loving Lying, from his album of the same name.
Although Siffre’s folk inflected music has an upbeat feel, the lyrics suggest the narrator is struggling to stop themself from falling apart.
‘Crying never did nobody no good no how / That’s why I don’t cry,’ Siffre sings in the first verse.
Later, he sings, ‘Loving never did me no good no how, no how / That’s why I can’t love you now.’
The screenshots didn’t show a volume level, but to prevent her fans from thinking that she was just posting screenshots of songs she wasn’t actually listening to, Kylie captioned the second screenshot: ‘and don’t come for me for the volume it’s connected to my carplay speakers.’
Kylie didn’t go into any more depth about what attracted her to the downbeat tunes, though both are beloved songs.

It has been a month since the Kylie was last photographed with her Hollywood actor boyfriend Timothée on a yacht vacation in St. Tropez in the South of France.
Kylie may be missing out on the actor because of his work obligations, as he has been filming the highly anticipated sequel Dune: Messiah in Prague.
Kylie surprised her fans when she began following the actor on Instagram in early July, after they primarily kept their relationship off social media.
The businesswoman boasts 393 million followers on the photo-sharing site, but she is choosy about who she follows, with only 119 profiles making the cut, of which one is now her boyfriend of two years.

Fans of the couple have been driven into a frenzy after spotting that Kylie has allowed the Complete Unknown actor into her close social circle.
However, Timothée hasn’t yet reciprocated the follow on Instagram.
The 29-year-old actor has 19.7 million Instagram followers, and has only shared 147 posts, compared with Kylie’s whopping 7,244 posts.
But the Kardashians star shouldn’t feel snubbed, as the Oscar-nominated actor doesn’t follow any one on Instagram.
That includes his ex-girlfriend Eiza Gonzalez, who recently admitted she is ‘obsessed’ by his new romance with reality star Kylie.
During an appearance in Cosmopolitan’s online video series Cheap Shots, Eiza explained: ‘They look so cute together. They look so in love and so cute, I’m obsessed with them, and I love Timmy.’
She added of the Little Women actor: ‘I think he’s the most talented, sweetest — honestly, sweetest boy — and I’m just so proud to see him thriving and doing great in his career, and we’re just good friends.
‘I have nothing but amazing things to say about him.’

Chalamet has been romancing Kylie — who is mom to Stormi, seven, and three-year-old Aire with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott — since April 2023, and their relationship has won the seal of approval from Timothée’s mother Nicole Flender.
The real estate agent told Curbed: ‘I have to say she’s lovely. She’s very nice to me.’
This comes after Kylie shared a rare look inside her mother Kris’ $20M mansion in Hidden Hills, California.
The raven-haired beauty took to her Insta Stories a week ago as she said that she was having a ‘sleepover’ at the sprawling pad even though she lives within walking distance.
Some of the highlights of the visit was vodka cocktails on the patio joined by an al fresco dinner on expensive china with a view of the swimming pool.
And there appeared to be a silver cup filled with thin cigarettes next to a black bedazzled lighter with a K on it and an ashtray with a little grumpy smoking girl in the middle.
This comes after the momager debuted the home on The Kardashians.
Khloe and Kris built their homes next to each other in the Kardashian–Jenner favorite neighborhood of Hidden Hills in 2021.

They had purchased the lots on the same day from Metro Development Homes just before Christmas to build their custom home of their dreams.
Per The Dirt last year, the brokers originally proposed one single family home on the 3.4 acre property, but Kris and Khloe counter-proposed two homes on the then-single lot.
Originally the land was owned by construction magnate Ron Tutor — the father of Million Dollar Listing star Tracy Tutor ‚ and included a home of 20,000 square feet.
Khloé’s home cost $17 million while Kris’ cost $20 million, for a combined total of $37 million, sits on land that used to have one single family home that Britney Spears once rented in 2011 and 2012 for $25,000 a month, per Page Six.
The home was once leased to Britney Spears. It sold in 2012 for $7 million to a local developer who razed the house. After that, the land was left vacant for years before being passed to Metro Development.
Despite the exorbitant amount, the real estate purchases aren’t the most expensive Hidden Hills prices on record as a property sold for $22.3 million in June 2019.
