Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet are the latest celebrity couple to embrace the matching outfits trend, taking inspiration from an iconic Posh and Bex look.
The reality star, 28, and actor, 29, were side by side as they left romantic hot spot The Waverly Inn in New York City via a chauffeured black SUV on Monday evening.
But it was their matching black leather looks which drew attention, with Timothee wearing both a black leather bomber jacket and black leather harem pants.
Meanwhile Kylie matched with her A-lister boyfriend, also opting for a black leather bomber jacket as she shielded her face.
Kylie and Timothee were headed to the after party for the premiere of Timothee’s new film Marty Supreme at the 63rd New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.

Back in October 2021, Victoria revealed during a visit on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon why she and David used to wear matching outfits.
‘It just seemed like a really good idea at the time,’ Victoria said, drawing giggles from the studio audience in New York City.
‘It really did. I think there was a naïveté then, we didn’t know about fashion,’ she added. ‘We were just having fun with it, which to be honest with you, is kind of the way it should be. I really wish I had the courage to do it more now.’
She said they didn’t know nor care and just wanted to have fun with their outfits, explaining: ‘And we were like, “Hey, let’s wear matching leather…And we did”.’
Meanwhile another iconic matching couple look was that of Britney Spears and her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
And in 2023, Britney finally broke her silence on the double-denim outfits she and Justin wore to the American Music Awards back in 2001.
The singer recalled the moment she suggested the look to her stylist in her new memoir The Woman in Me, claiming she presented it as a joke.

‘At first, honestly, I thought it was a joke,’ she continued. ‘I didn’t think my stylist was actually going to do it, and I never thought Justin was going to do it with me. But they both went all in.’
She then recalled her stylist bringing in the ‘all-denim outfit’. ‘When he put it on, I thought, Whoa! I guess we’re really doing this!’
‘Justin and I were always going to events together,’ Britney added in her book. ‘We had so much fun doing the Teen Choice Awards, and we often color-coordinated our outfits. But with the matching denim, we blew it up.’

Kylie and Timothee’s appearance came after they hadn’t been seen together in two months due to the latter’s acting schedule.
The movie icon has been spending his time in Budapest, where he’s filming Dune: Part Three.
In August the lovebirds were spotted in a coffee shop in the city, where star-struck fans snapped a photo with them.
The image was later circulated online, showing a smiling Jenner in a busty black tank top and Timothee with a white T-shirt pulled over his head.
‘Today Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet just walked in to our coffeeshop at Buda we were so in confusion, we could barley concentrate, but i think you can see on our face,’ wrote a woman behind the Instagram account Budapest Baristas.
She joked, ‘Thank god everyone look at them not us. They were super nice and kind thank you for coming @kyliejenner @tchalamet ❤️.’
It came shortly after Daily Mail reported that the mother-of-two ‘secretly jets off to see him when she can.’
A source dished, ‘She helps him out as much as she can, like gives him space to work and has her private jet on standby in case he needs to go somewhere fast.’
