Kylie Gillies is pulling out all stops in support of Larry Emdur’s bid to take home the Gold Logie this year.
The Morning Show star borrowed a ‘campaign strategy’ from the U.S. Presidential race on Wednesday, taking to her social media with a cheeky post in order to win votes for her co-host.
Posting a photo of herself in a suit and blue shirt Kylie, 57, can be seen holding a sign reading: ‘Emdur for Gold’.
Kylie’s picture is an exact replica of the social media campaign launched by Doug Emhoff the husband of U.S. Vice-President Kamala Harris who is out to win the Democrats vote as their Presidential nominee.
She also included a picture of Emhoff holding a sign that says ‘Harris for President’.
‘I’m doing a Doug,’ Kylie explained in the caption.
‘Kamala Harris’ husband, Douglas Emhoff, is the Second Gentleman of the United States. He’s campaigning hard for his wife to be the next President,’ Kylie continued.
‘I’m the First Lady of The Morning Show, and I too have spent 57 cents on a piece of paper to campaign for my work husband to be elected to the highest office in the Australian TV land – the Gold Logie.

‘Kamala Harris is a former courtroom prosecutor. Larry Emdur has held court in Australian lounge rooms for 40 years.
‘She has caught killers. Larry says he’s guilty of killing off more TV shows than any other host. (He’s too harsh. Those canines in Celebrity Dog School really let him down),’ she joked.
‘Make your vote count! And justify our expenditure on both blue AND red ink cartridges for the poster.
