The pair went on to welcome their eldest daughter Alexia, 27, in 1996, and the Halloween actress gave birth to her younger daughters Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, in 2000 and 2008, respectively.
The real estate agent also serves as a stepfather to his estranged wife’s daughter Farrah, 35, whom she shares with her former husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
Umansky initially addressed rumors about a potential split from his wife during an episode of the Two Ts Getting the Tea podcast that was released last April, during which he denied that they had begun divorce proceedings.
The reality television personality also described the rumors concerning his marriage to Richards as ‘so dumb.’
However, the two went on to release a joint statement to confirm that they had officially separated the following month.
The Bravo star has since been linked to Morgan Wade, although she has only described the singer as a close friend.
Richards recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight and told the media outlet that felt as if she and Umansky were navigating their separation in an effective manner.
‘I feel like we’re very fortunate that we’re handling it the way that we are. I don’t know if many people can do that,’ she said.

Richards concluded by stating that she was happy to have been able to grow as a person through her separation.
She added that, although she was undergoing ‘a challenging time,’ she and Umansky ‘love each other and care about each other.’
