The Kyle & Jackie O Show were unexpectedly absent from their radio show on Wednesday morning, with the KIIS FM station forced to play repeats of their best moments.
Radio insiders have exclusively revealed to Daily Mail Australia that almost the entire show’s team have been riddled will illnesses over the past few days.
It comes after co-host and shock jock Kyle Sandilands, 53, spent Monday and Tuesday detailing how more and more of his team were unable to work due to a variety of illnesses spreading through the studio.
On Monday, reporter Cooper Johns was a no show after ‘being crook’ all weekend, alongside producer Joshua Fox, who has pneumonia.
The following day, show director and Sandilands’ manager Bruno Bouchet was also absent due to an undisclosed illness.
Listeners were also informed on Tuesday that Content Producer Natalie Penfold would be absent for a month after breaking both of her feet.
It is believed that either Sandilands or his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, if not both, have now been struck with mystery illnesses as well.
An ARN spokesperson confirmed with Daily Mail Australia that Sandilands is ‘unwell’ and will ‘hopefully’ return to the show on Thursday.

It comes after the radio host recently visited a vascular surgeon after suffering several health problems over the years.
During a segment last week, Sandilands revealed he had a routine check-up with a doctor who diagnoses and treats problems with blood vessels.
The 53-year-old explained while his results had not changed since the last time he visited, he was given some health advice that shocked him.

‘I was put up on the table like a like a piece of meat. Stripped off and probed,’ he explained.
‘And then the surgeon goes, “Yeah, exactly the same as last time. Maybe stop smoking”.’
But when Sandilands asked his doctor if he could continue vaping THC, a cannabinoid found in cannabis that is often used legally for therapeutic use, his doctor replied no.
Last year, Sandilands addressed another health scare live on air, revealing he was undergoing several tests on his blood and bone marrow.
‘I have been doing blood tests and the numbers are on the way up. If it gets up to 16 then I have leukemia,’ he told KIIS FM celebrity doctor Sam ‘Dr KIIS’ Hay in August 2023.
