Kristin Cavallari has lowered the price of her 6,788-square-foot chic country estate in Franklin, TN to $9.95M – seven months after putting the 28-acre property on the real estate market for $11M.
The Let’s Be Honest podcaster – who turned 38 on Sunday – slashed $1.05M off the price of the three-story, single family residence three years after telling My Domaine: ‘This is home as far as I can see into the future.’
Kristin originally purchased the nine-year-old farmhouse for just $3M in April 2020 – the same month she announced she was legally separating from her husband Jay Cutler after seven years of marriage (divorce was finalized in 2022).
Cavallari then teamed up with interior designer April Tomlin and embarked on an 18-month renovation where they gutted the kitchen, finished the basement, redid the bathrooms and her large closet as well as adding an in-ground pool and greenhouse.
‘I am really thankful because this is the first house I’ve ever lived in that is exactly what I wanted aesthetically,’ the Uncommon James founder gushed to My Domaine in 2022.
‘To be able to come home to this environment is so nice for me. I can’t say enough good things about Tennessee. It’s very grounding for me and I feel so at ease here.’

Kristin’s spacious kitchen features state-of-the art appliances, a quartzite island, and a walk-in pantry.
Cavallari’s house has a master bedroom, three en-suite bedrooms, four bathrooms, and one partial bathroom.
The ex-flame of Morgan Wallen made sure to add a fancy sauna and large gym to the basement, which doubles as a ‘wellness retreat.’
Kristin feels ‘very lucky’ that her three children – son Camden, 12; son Jaxon, 10; and daughter Saylor, 9 – get to ‘play outside all day.’
‘The second level is essentially the kids’ zone. It’s where all three of their bedrooms are, the playroom, an arts and crafts room, and a game room,’ Cavallari explained.
‘To have bees and honey and a chicken coop makes me so happy. Plus, teaching your kids life skills like that is neat. For my kids to be able to go out to our coop and get eggs is a really cool way to grow up – and very different than how I grew up.’
Located 21 miles South of Nashville, the Denver-born beauty’s property also features a 3,070-square-foot guest house as well as a vegetable garden, apple trees, and berry bushes.
Tim Thompson Premier Realtors is handling the sale of the home.
