In the accompanying interview, the former late night comedy star revealed that she has no plans to film a sequel to her 2011 blockbuster comedy Bridesmaids.
‘It’s never been a conversation,’ she said when asked if there’s any plans for a follow up film.
‘That story had an end, and it’s so beloved to me for 10 million reasons, and I think it’s OK to just have it exist in the world as it is.’
Bridesmaids grossed over $300million at the box office and turned Kristen into a household name.
And while the Wonder Woman 1984 star has ruled out another Bridesmaids movie, Melissa McCarthy is still holding out hope.
‘I would do a Bridesmaids sequel this afternoon, right now,’ the actress and comedian revealed during an interview with People last year.

The film’s plot centers on Annie (Wiig), who suffers a series of misfortunes after being asked to serve as maid of honor for her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph).
Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, Wendi McLendon-Covey and McCarthy co-star as Lillian’s bridesmaids.
‘That group of women was the most magical thing ever,’ she explained of the experience. ‘Almost all of us were really good friends already. I think it was such a magical time.’

Directed by Paul Feig from a screenplay by Annie Mumolo and Kristen Wiig, Bridesmaids went on to become a bonafide hit at the worldwide box office, grossing $306.4 million on a $32.5 million budget.
To show just how serious she is about suiting up to play Megan Price one more time, McCarthy confessed she would do it even if the cast were ‘all in our nineties and [writers] Kristen [Wiig] and Annie [Mumolo] are like, “Should we team back up?”
‘I’d be like, ‘Yes. Yeah, we should.”‘
Palm Royale, which also stars Kaia Gerber, is set in 1969 and about an ambitious woman aspires to cross the line between the haves and have-nots to secure her seat at America’s most exclusive, fashionable and treacherous table: Palm Beach high society.
The show debuts March 20 on Apple TV+.
