Kristen Bell wished Dax Shepard a happy 50th birthday by sharing a sweet photo of them kissing in the car on their wedding day.
The Hollywood power couple have been married since 2013 and are now raising two young daughters – Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 10.
In a heartwarming album posted to Instagram on Thursday, Kristen shared several photos of her and Dax over the years, including a handful of them kissing.
She also made sure to include photos of Dax with their daughters, such as one in which both little girls were adorably dressed in matching outfits.
‘Happy birthday to the most affectionate 220 lbs man that ever exsisted. I cannot imagine life without you,’ wrote the Frozen actress.
She reminded her fans that the opening snap in the album – a hazy photo of her kissing Dax – was in fact ‘the first I ever posted on Instagram.’

Ahead of the couple’s 10th wedding anniversary, Kristen shared one of the secrets behind her long-lasting marriage to Dax.
‘Common goals, seek them out. Our kids are a common goal, right?’ observed Kristen, who has also acted in multiple movies with Dax.
‘People are like: “Oh, I wouldn’t be able to work with my husband or wife or partner.” For me, I want another common goal with him,’ she told Entertainment Tonight.
‘I respect him so much creatively. I have so much trust in him. Of course I want him to be my director or my scene partner,’ she insisted.
Kristen also cited ‘a deep sense of respect’ between them, noting: ‘Understanding that your partner used to be a little person is the best thing you can do.’
She explained: ‘Sometimes if we’re ever on the verge of a fight, one of us will say – it’s usually Dax – “I feel like eight-year-old Dax right now.” And I’m able to see him like I see my kids, which is in a very different way and go: “Oh yeah, you’re a little person that had trauma and triggers and it’s not about me.”‘
The When In Rome actress added: ‘But if I could change my behavior in a way that benefits our relationship, why wouldn’t I do that?’
A couple of years ago, Kristen revealed that she had already talked to her two young daughters about their father’s history with addiction.

Dax had a substance abuse problem for more than a decade before achieving sobriety in 2005, the year he turned 30.
When he briefly relapsed in 2020 after being prescribed Vicodin following a motorcycle accident, Kristen remained a steadfast source of support.Â
‘I know it’s shocking, but I talk to my kids about drugs, and the fact that their daddy is an addict and he’s in recovery, and we talk about sex,’ she told REAL SIMPLE.
‘I hate the word “taboo.” I think it should be stricken from the dictionary. There should be no topic that’s off the table for people to talk about,’ she argued.
‘There are all these “hard topics” that don’t have to be if you give the person on the other end your vulnerability and a little bit of credit.’
She and Dax went viral in 2021 when she said she was ‘a big fan of waiting for the stink’ before bathing her children, during an appearance on The View.
