Kristen Bell’s 12th wedding anniversary slipped her mind.
Last week the 45-year-old actress had to be reminded by a red carpet reporter that her anniversary with husband Dax Shepard, 50, was coming up.
At the season two premiere of her Netflix show Nobody Wants This, she was prompted about the pending occasion.
‘Tomorrow, Friday, is…’ an Entertainment Tonight journalist posited before Kristen answered absent-mindedly, ‘The beginning of the weekend?’
After hearing the date, the mom-of-two realized, ‘Oh, my God! It’s my anniversary!’
She added, ‘You know I don’t remember that. Oh, shoot. I’m so glad that you told me.’

Dressed in a revealing red Alex Perry red dress, Kristen shared that she and Dax were ‘having a date night tomorrow.’
Reacting to the reporter’s inquiry, she said, ‘Wow, what a curveball you threw me.’
And she admitted that she’s not the only one who forgets the wedding date.
‘It helps that he doesn’t remember either. And, like, no one’s at fault here, right? We’re just, like, not great with dates,’ the actress said.
To mark 12 years of marriage, Kristen posted an intimate photo with her husband on Instagram.
In the caption she revealed the gruesome act he has vowed not to commit.
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star wrote, ‘Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: “I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.”❤️’
It didn’t go over well with some of her nearly 16 million followers on the social media app.
‘That’s a wildly sad and insensitive thing to say considering it’s domestic violence awareness month and thousands of women have died a the hands of the man they trusted,’ one person commented.
Meanwhile, Dateline — the investigative journalism show covering sensationalized murders — cheekily commented, ‘Screenshotted.’

In Nobody Wants This, Kristen — who executive produced the series — plays Joanne, an irreverent woman who falls for a charming rabbi named Noah (Adam Brody).
A logline for the show reads: ‘He’s stuck in his ways and used to playing things safe. He starts to stumble when he meets a brutally honest and provocative Joanne, totally upending his safe life plan.’
The show is full of steamy kisses between the love interests, and the actress has shared that her husband is totally okay with it.
Speaking with E! News earlier this year, she said they ‘root’ for each other’s spicy love scenes.
‘When he got to make out with Minka Kelly on Parenthood, I was like, “Yes. Get it.” We’re married; we’re not dead,’ she recalled.
Likewise, Dax was not threatened by her loved-up onscreen moments with co-star Adam Brody.
‘Dax also knows there’s no real threat there, because Adam and I, if you were to see us in person, there is not chemistry.
‘We bicker all the time. We’re like an old granny and grampy. It’s not hot and heavy on set at all,’ the Hollywood siren shared.
