Kris Jenner Reveals Why She Remains Friends with Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney’s Exes

Kris Jenner has a history of staying friends with her children’s exes.

For a while the 70-year-old momager was talking to Kim Kardashian’s ex Kanye West even during his meltdowns. But then in 2020, he called her Kris Jong-un, a reference to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and that has likely ended any friendship.

The TV producer also is friendly with Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson and has even attended parties with him in attendance.  

And she has done the most for Kourtney Kardashian’s love rat ex Scott Disick who is still a cast member on the family’s reality TV show The Kardashians.

The ex of Caitlyn Jenner has even said that Disick is ‘amazing’ and ‘will always be a special part of our family.’

‘I fall in love with people, have lives and years spent with their partners or their boyfriends or their husbands,’ Kris shared on the Monday’s episode of On Purpose with Jay Shetty.

‘And I have all these memories and travels and Christmas morning celebrations and birthdays and all the fun, the laughter, the joys, the tears, the babies,’ added the SKIMS model.

She added, ‘These are, in most cases, the fathers of my grandchildren. And I love these men, and that love doesn’t go away when we experience really challenging times with them. It just doesn’t turn off like that for me.’

The star – who recently had a $100K facelift – said the exes know ‘they can always come to me’ with their problems.

And she also stays close to the exes for the sake of the grandkids.

‘What will my grandkids think 20 years from now if their grandmother treated their dad poorly?’ she said.

‘Or I wasn’t loving and kind and compassionate and forgiving? So I teach my kids forgiveness. It’s one of the biggest lessons that I can teach them, to forgive somebody whose treated you badly and move on.’

Jenner made it clear that she understands why fans are thrown off by this habit. And she is well aware these men have ‘treated [her daughters] badly’ in the past.

But Kris said that the bad things in the past have been handled ‘internally and privately.’

‘We don’t need to talk about these things anymore. It’s been done. It’s dealt with,’ she said. 

‘We’ve talked about it. We all know what’s happened. We’ve had it on the show or we’ve had it in our lives. Now it’s time to grow the f*** up, be mature. I love who I’ve loved and I don’t like what they’ve done. No I don’t. But it doesn’t make the love get any less overnight.’

Kim and West had a very ugly split that ended in divorce in 2022.

The divorce involved public disputes, particularly over custody and co-parenting, as well as disagreements over finances. Kardashian has accused the rapper of ‘obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation.’

The exes have four children together: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. 

Khloe Kardashian and Thompson split in 2021 after multiple infidelity reports against the basketball player came to light. 

The split followed previous breakup in 2019 after he was accused of cheating with Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods. 

Despite their romantic separation, they have continued to co-parent their two children, daughter True and son Tatum. 

Kourtney and Disick met in 2006 and he appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

They dated on and off until 2015 and had three children together: Mason, Penelope and Reign.

‘Scott and I, we’re going to be in each other’s lives forever. We are soulmates, in a sense. No matter what, whether we’re ever together or not,’ the reality star said on KUWTK.

‘I love Scott and we all love Scott,’ Jenner said after Disick was in a car crash. ‘And Scott will always be a part of our family. He’s the father of my grandchildren and he’s just … my kid.’
