Kim Kardashian Hints She Might Have Damaged Marilyn Monroe’s Dress During Lie Detector Test

Kim Kardashian was in the hot seat strapped to a lie detector on Monday when her All’s Fair castmate Teyana Taylor grilled her about allegedly damaging Marilyn Monroe’s dress by donning it for the 2022 Met Gala.

‘Did you whoop Marilyn Monroe’s dress?’ the 34-year-old singer-actress asked twice during the Vanity Fair video.

Each time, the 45-year-old SKIMS CEO calmly stated: ‘No.’

Teyana continued to put the pressure on: ‘So you’re saying that it got to you already whooped?’

Kim responded: ‘I don’t know how it got to me, but it’s perfect now.’

‘So when you tried it on, what was the dress giving?’ Taylor probed.

The 45-year-old SKIMS CEO denied damaging the dress twice before eventually breaking her steely composure: 'You're gonna cost me like $10M in insurance. Let's move on!'

At that, Kardashian broke her steely composure and laughed: ‘You’re gonna cost me like $10M in insurance. Let’s move on!’

The Kardashians producer-star then turned to polygraph operator Stephanie Jackson to confirm she ‘was being truthful’ and she replied: ‘All of it is true.’

After a bit of cheering, the One Battle After Another actress backtracked: ‘Wait, why are you shocked?’

Kim smiled: ‘I’m not.’

Kardashian received a barrage of backlash when she was loaned the iconic blonde bombshell’s custom Jean Louis gown, which she famously wore to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to President John F. Kennedy (her alleged lover) in 1962.

No money was exchanged between the Calabasas socialite and Ripley’s Believe It or Not! but she did make ‘a charitable donation to two charities in the greater Orlando area on behalf of the company.’

Kim never fit into the $5M historical garment, and was forced to cover her BBL with a white shawl as she carefully made her way up the Met Gala staircase.

Kardashian quickly changed into a replica of the bedazzled dress, which fit her sculpted 5ft2in figure perfectly, as she partied with family and then boyfriend Pete Davidson at the annual Costume Institute benefit.

Marilyn fans were quick to document the extensive damage done to her dress before and after the Met Gala, including a sizeable tear in the right strap.

There are now several crystals missing as well as stretching around the back seam, further exposing the zipper area.

Another rep further stressed: ‘The fact remains that she did not, in any way, damage the garment in the short amount of time it was worn at the Met Gala.’

‘[Marilyn] was a goddess. A crazy goddess, but a goddess. She was just fabulous,’ the 86-year-old designer told EW.

‘Nobody photographs like that. And it was done for her. It was designed for her. Nobody else should be seen in that dress.’
