Kim Kardashian presented her sister Kourtney Kardashian with a one-of-a-kind gift for Christmas this year: The coveted bicycle that was the center of the hit 1985 motion picture Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.
Kourtney, 46, revealed she was the new owner of the Hollywood memento on Saturday as she took to Instagram Stories to flaunt the gift she received from her younger sister, 45.Â
Said Kourtney: ‘If anyone’s looking for peewee’s bicycle… I have it. Coolest Christmas present @kimkardashian.’
The 1985 motion picture from feted filmmaker Tim Burton put the late Pee-wee Herman (real name Paul Reubens) on the map as a major pop culture star.
The storyline of the movie followed Pee-wee as searched the country for his red bicycle after his archrival Francis had been pushing hard to buy it from him.
The motion picture showcased Pee-wee’s journey as he tried to reunite with his beloved bike through truck stops, the Alamo and even the Warner Brothers backlot.Â

Kourtney also posted a picture of Pee-wee lovingly gazing at the bike with the caption: ‘Me on Christmas morning.’
Kourtney received the bicycle seven months after one of the 14 used in the making of the movie had been purchased by a private bidder for $125,000 on the bicycle in an auction this past May.
The bicycle hit the auction block as part of a sale at Van Eaton Galleries in Los Angeles tied to the estate of late animation mogul Jay Ward.
It was not immediately clear if the bicycle Kim gave her older sister was the one that sold this past spring.Â
Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Kim Kardashian for further comment on the story.
The bike went for more than expected, as it was projected by the auction house to command bids in between $30,000 and $60,000.Â
It ultimately went for $125,000 at the conclusion of bidding, People reported.Â
Ward, who had produced classic animated projects such as Rocky & Bullwinkle, Dudley Do-Right and George of the Jungle, had a number of unique entertainment memorabilia items included in his estate lot.

Kim was a generous gift giver as the holidays rolled around this year, as she presented her four children with ex-husband Kanye West memorable presents.
All four kids – North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six, received Pomeranian puppies.
Three of the four kids had extra holiday fun Sunday as they visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California with their famed father and his wife, Bianca Censori.Â
