Kim Kardashian Expands $60M Hidden Hills Compound with $7M Neighboring Home Purchase

Kim Kardashian has reportedly snapped up a home located next door to her famous $60million compound in affluent Hidden Hills, California.

According to TMZ, the billionaire SKIMS founder — who rang in her 45th birthday on Tuesday — paid $7million for the neighboring 5,000sq ft property, which boasts four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

As well as having an incredible view, several fireplaces and a spa on the premises, Kardashian’s new piece of real estate is located in close proximity to the area’s horse trails.

The home purchase is reportedly part of a huge expansion to Kardashian’s existing property, which already sits on three acres of land.

The Daily Mail reached out to representatives for Kardashian for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Kardashian’s Hidden Hills home was purchased for $20million in 2014 while she was still married to ex-husband Kanye West.

West, 48, then spent the next five years remodeling the sprawling eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom abode with the help of Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt and other big names in modern architecture.

The house has repeatedly gone viral for its minimalist, neutral-toned aesthetic — which many fans have branded ‘cold’ or ‘depressing’ over the years.

When the couple split in 2021, Kardashian became the sole property owner after paying West $23million – $20million for the home itself and $3million for all its contents.

It was previously claimed by Page Six that Kardashian owned ‘all the land and adjoining lots around the house but Kanye [owned] the actual house.’

The outlet’s insider also shared that Kardashian wanted to keep the property because that’s where her and West’s kids ‘are based and growing up.’

The mother-of-four began a major renovation on the 15,000sq ft home in late 2024 after her and West’s divorce was finalized.

She gave fans a glimpse at the construction project on the most recent season of Hulu’s The Kardashians, which aired in March but was filmed sometime in 2024.

‘I’m packing up my entire house. I’m fully remodeling and it’s not easy to do this with four kids,’ Kardashian said in confessional at the time, adding that she had, ‘one time in my life when I can do this.’

She told cameras that she would be moved out of the home for ‘a year and a half’ and joked about building big new additions for when she one day finds a new partner.

‘I did this whole renovation and I looked up to my team and I go, “Guys, we’re adding on to the house, we’re changing everything for me, and then I thought, “Wait, where’s the his side?”‘ she recalled.

‘I’ll be so stuck in that, and not even be open to having a partner, if I don’t like build it. So if you build it, he will come,’ Kardashian said with a laugh, repeating the famous line in the 1989 baseball classic film Field of Dreams.

Along with her Hidden Hills mansion, Kim also owns a $70million Malibu dream home that she purchased in 2022.

She was among the lucky celebrities whose home did not burn down in the apocalyptic fires that ravaged Los Angeles earlier this year.

Located on famous billionaire’s row, the oceanfront abode was formerly owned by Cindy Crawford and husband, Rande Gerber, as well as retired hedge funder, Adam Weiss – who had last owned the villa, according to Page Six.

Soon after purchasing the four bedroom, six bathroom Mediterranean-style home, Kim began renovations that were reportedly completed sometime in 2024.

The star made a few upgrades when it came to the sprawling outdoor space, such as changing the wrap-around deck flooring from light-colored tile to a smooth concrete for a sleek and modern flare.
