Kim Kardashian has addressed a viral decade-old claim on Instagram that she ‘forgot’ her daughter North while leaving a hotel in Paris.
The SKIMs founder went viral in 2014 as many questioned her parenting skills as she departed her hotel in the French capital without her then one-year-old daughter.
In the clip, Kim, who donned a pink cut out roll neck crop top and matching leggings, strutted to her waiting vehicle empty-handed before making a U-turn back into the building.
A few moments later the Kardashians star re-emerged with North while making her way through flashing cameras back to the waiting SUV, which was due to whisk them to the airport.
Re-sharing the viral clip, a fan wrote ‘my favourite Kardashian moment is when Kim forgot North in a hotel room’.
Kim took to her social media on Saturday to provide context, not for the first time, as she stated, ‘I didn’t forget her!’ to her 356million followers.

She said: ‘I wanted to show the look off before holding her bc her outfit didn’t match mine!! I didn’t forget her!!!’
The now mother-of-four was at the time wearing in a pink fitted co-ord and grey coat while her daughter was dressed in a black leather jacket and matching leather trousers.
However this account differs slightly to the one Kim shared on X – formerly known as Twitter – in 2014 as she hit back at the time, explaining she first emerged without North because she was tending to an issue with her daughter’s car seat.
Taking to Twitter to set the record straight, she wrote at the time: ‘Heard on the radio today some story I forgot my daughter at our hotel as I’m leaving for the airport. Are you kidding me?!?!?! LOL
‘I went to the car to make sure the car seat was in because the day before we had a car seat issue.
‘Do u guys really think a 1year old would be inside the lobby by herself!Oh wait she was waiting to check out lol.’
In addition to North, who is now 12, Kim also share son Saint, nine, daughter Chicago, seven, and son Psalm, six, with ex husband Kanye ‘Ye’ West.
It comes after the Kim and Kanye’s firstborn of four children recently celebrated her June 15 birthday on a yacht in Mexico.

West moved on with busty Bianca Censori, 30, marrying her in December 2022, the month after his divorce was finalized.
Together they’re known for their outlandish public appearances, which often see the Australian architect scantily clad.

Last month, North went viral for appearing in influencer Chris Smoove’s latest video.
The 12-year-old nepo baby rocked her hair in knee-length blue braids and a gothic-inspired shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
Chris, who’s known for profiling celebrities and their designer threads, asked North how much her outfit cost, piece by piece.
And she sent the internet into hysterics as she gave the same answer for each question: ‘I don’t know.’
Fans convened in the comments section of the post, collectively agreeing that the youngster is ‘just like’ her famous father.
‘Daddy’s daughter,’ one person wrote, along with a string of crying laughing emojis and one shrug emoji.

Someone else said North was ‘Princess Yeezy Fasho,’ referencing Kanye’s popular clothing line.
Another social media user declared, ‘She definitely has her dad’s personality for SURE.’
‘She just like her daddy,’ influencer Nick Yardy added.’
North’s interview echoed her dad’s 2021 chat with Smoove, during which he answered ‘I don’t know’ for most of the questions presented to him as he rocked an all-black ensemble.
The Chicago-bred rapper did, however, divulge that the watch he was wearing at the time ran him $200,000.
