Kieran Culkin and Wife Welcome Third Child After Oscars ‘Pact’

Kieran Culkin and his wife, Jazz Charton, have quietly welcomed their third child.

The joyful news was subtly revealed by the Succession star’s former costar Sarah Snook, who confirmed she has already met the newest member of the Culkin family.

‘I met the little baby. [They’re] so cute,’ Snook gushed to Access Hollywood at the All Her Fault premiere on Monday. ‘They’re very happy and so cute.’

Culkin, 43, and Charton, 37, have yet to publicly comment on their latest arrival, and the newborn’s name and gender have not been disclosed.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Culkin’s representatives for comment.

The couple – who tied the knot over a decade earlier in 2013 – are already parents to daughter Kinsey, six, and son Wilder, four.

The big news comes after Culkin revealed the promise that his wife made to him after winning his first Oscar earlier this year in March.

While accepting the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in A Real Pain (2024), the actor said that Charton would give him another kid if he won the award.

‘About a year ago, I was on a stage like this and I very stupidly, publicly said that I want a third kid from her because she said if I won the award she would give me the kid,’ he explained at the time.

The star jokingly told the crowd, ‘Turns out she said that because she didn’t think I was gonna win.

‘She goes, “Oh God, I did say that. I guess I owe you a third kid.” And I turned to her and I said, “Really, I want four.”‘

Culkin revealed that his wife had then told him in response, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’

The actor then humorously remined Charton of her promise and also pointed out he has ‘not brought it up once until just now.’

‘But I just have this to say to you Jazz, love of my life, ye of little faith. No pressure, I love you, I’m really sorry I did this again and let’s get cracking on those kids. What do you say?’

The camera panned to his wife in the audience as she laughed at his speech and the reminder.

But it was not the first time that Culkin had expressed his wishes to continue to grow his family.

Last year in January, Culkin gave an emotional speech as he won an Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in Succession.

At one point, he sent gratitude to his wife while accepting the award.

‘Thank you for sharing your life with me and for giving me two amazing kids. Kinsey Sioux and Wilder Wolf, I love you so much.’

The Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World actor then added, ‘And Jazz – I want more. You said maybe, if I win. I love you so much.’

As the couple walked the red carpet during opening night of Waiting For Godot, the star was seen resting his hand on his wife’s growing baby bump.

She donned a fitted, tan-colored dress that fell down past her knees and also slipped into open-toed shoes.

Her brunette locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

Culkin kept it casual wearing a pair of black trousers as well as a gray-striped sweater and brown shoes.

Culkin and Charton – who is from London – first crossed paths at a bar in New York City in 2012.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor recalled their first meeting and expressed, ‘I said, “I’m Kieran. You have an English accent. What’s your name?”

‘She said, “Jazz.” I said, “J-A-Z-Z, like the music?” And she said, “Yeah.” And I said, “Well, that’s f***ing stupid.”‘

The following year, the lovebirds tied the knot in Iowa while enjoying a road trip together.

The pair welcomed their first child – a daughter named Kinsey – to the world in September 2019. And two years later, their son Wilder was born.

During an appearance on Variety’s Actors On Actors series late last year, Culkin opened up about fatherhood – and the one thing he is not a fan of.

At one point, Colman Domingo questioned, ‘What do you like about being a father?’ and the star replied with, ‘Absolutely everything except dinner time. I love everything else.’

When it comes to raising a family, he continued, ‘It feels like nothing else matters.

‘I’m a dad now, and my only role in life is that. That’s real life. All this is lovely, but I’m just trying to get home.’
