Kid Rock wielded a gun, hurled racial slurs, and instigated a physical altercation with a reporter, according to a new Rolling Stone article.
Writer David Peisner recalled the encounter in a piece published Sunday, following his interview with the country rapper in Nashville last month.
During the unhinged chat, they delved into topics ranging from immigration and Donald Trump to Kid Rock’s right-wing warrior persona.
As the drinks flowed and Kid Rock’s intoxication grew, Peisner described a tense moment when the musician abruptly produced a ‘black handgun,’ waving it before Peisner’s face in an apparent attempt to make a statement.
‘And I got a f****** goddamn gun right here if I need it!’ Kid Rock, who is also close friends with Donald Trump Jr, reportedly shouted. ‘I got them everywhere!’
The Cowboy hitmaker purportedly used the N-word multiple times, notably while asserting that Republicans were the ones who ‘freed the slaves.’

Later, Kid Rock allegedly prevented Peisner from leaving his studio on multiple occasions, even asking if he was up for a fight at one point.
‘Do you think you could whup the sh** out of me?’ he allegedly asked Pesiner, who responded, ‘Probably not.’
DailyMail.com has reached out to Kid Rock’s reps for comment.
The article maps Kid Rock’s evolution from his privileged upbringing in Detroit’s suburbs, residing in a lavish home with his conservative father, to his emergence as a driven rapper and libertarian figure.
Along the way, he vocally opposed GOP positions on topics like gay marriage and abortion before fully embracing right-wing politics.
In the chat, the singer wore a ‘This Bud’s For You’ hat, a year after posting a video where he tried to shoot up a case of Bud Light, seemingly upset over the brand’s support of trans social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
He claims to have shifted his focus away from the boycott of Anheuser-Busch, the parent company he once supported.
However, the article highlights that among the new entities in his crosshairs is Planet Fitness, the gym club which has become a subject of right-wing criticism for its inclusive policies toward transgender individuals.
Conservative social media users have called for a boycott of Planet Fitness after reports of a 2023 incident involving a man who allegedly exposed himself to a 15-year-old while in a women’s locker room.
Kid Rock also reportedly spent a considerable part of his interview defending his support for Donald Trump, whom he tried to telephone and referred to his ‘bestie.’

However, it’s said that the former President didn’t answer the call, sending Kid Rock to voicemail.
‘You think I like Trump because he’s a nice guy?’ Kid Rock added. ‘I’m not electing the deacon of a church.
‘That motherf***** likes to win. He likes to cheat in his f****** golf game. I want that guy on my team. I want the guy who goes, “I’m going to fight with you.”‘

Peisner also joined Kid Rock at one of the concert dates on his Rock’s Rock the Country tour, where the singer ranted about ‘open borders, high taxes’ and made a declaration that ‘Joe Biden can kiss my motherf****** Anglo-Saxon ass.’
In another tirade, Kid Rock appeared to echo Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric against immigration, calling some immigrants ‘murderers! They’re rapists! They are! MS-13!’
Later, as Peisner was departing, Rock told him, ‘Would you do me a favor? Just write the most horrific article about me. Do it. It helps me.’
He then added, ‘Will you tell everyone that I was halfway cool?’
