Kelly Ripas Cosmetic Procedure Goes Hilariously Wrong

has discussed one of her failed cosmetic procedures.

During her Wednesday episode of her Let's Talk Off Camera podcast, she told guest that she had microneedling done on a private part of her body.

Ripa revealed the work was done on her 'ass cheeks' to make her butt appear younger and perkier.

But the process did not really do anything, she said, because her bottom looked 'as old as before.' Then the morning show host joked that 'desperate times call for desperate measures.'

The 55-year-old star has been open about her cosmetic enhancements. In February, she said she got in her armpits.

And the former soap opera actress has also said she might get a  in the future. 

However, she is not so sure about having breast enhancement surgery. When on an episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in 2025 Ripa said that she went in for consultations for a boob job.

'We know that I'm flat-chested. It's not a mystery at this point. It's almost a point of pride,' she explained.

'Like, every time I hear about the new boob guy, I go, and I have a consult,' she said. 'And I'm like, "What? What will you do?" And they always, like, say all the right things and do all the right things. And, you know, because our cell phones listen to us … It pops up. And I scroll through, like, so many horror stories of boob jobs.'

'It, like, talks me right out of it,' she added.

In 2018 she said she had no work done.

'I'm gonna tell you right now. No nose job, and no veneers. I wouldn't be sleeping in a retainer every night if I had. You guys do know how to make a girl feel special.'

This comes after she joked she has her own 'chastity belt' to stop evening sex with her husband Mark Consuelos.

The talk show host simply has to pop in her retainer and Mark, 55, knows there is no way he is going to have some bedtime fun that evening.

During a conversation about the mating habits of koalas on their Live with Kelly and Mark talk show, he said: 'When they're mating, the koala goes in there and says, 'Hey, I'm Mr. Koala, nice to meet you, Ms. Koala.'

'Sometimes they're not interested. Instead of being heartbroken, they go back to sleep.'

Kelly quipped that it reminded her of Mark, and she pretended to roll over and put her retainer in.

She then joked: 'He hears the retainer pop in, it's like a chastity belt.'

Mark added: 'When you put it in, it's like, click, click, click. Alright, guess I'm going to bed.'

He also quipped: 'I come to bed with my little eucalyptus leaf, and I'm like, "Hey, you want to fool around? No? Okay."'

The pair have previously discussed morning sex on their talk show, with Ripa admitting she is not a fan.

Consuelos recently joked working together on their show has been an 'antidote' for getting jiggy with it first thing.

He said: 'I've got to tell you, this job has really gotten in the way of that.'

His wife previously told how she only likes to have sex in the evenings, because the pair are 'repulsive' in the mornings.

Speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast last July, she explained: 'I said to him, 'Here's the thing. There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. It feels like 90 per cent of the time it's your way, and now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way. And my way's at night only.'

'I have a retainer in, I gotta rip that out. And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people].

'I'm already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning.'
