Kelly Dodd threatened to release embarrassing recordings she made of her 19-year-old daughter Jolie in an explosive voice note that has leaked online.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shares Jolie with her ex-husband Michael Dodd, whom she split from in 2017 after 11 years of marriage.
Their divorce triggered a rancorous custody drama, with Kelly at one point accusing Michael of being a ‘deadbeat,’ but by 2021 they appeared to have arrived at an amicable co-parenting relationship that she characterized as a ‘miracle.’
However they were feuding publicly again by 2022, and now Kelly is claiming that Jolie – who is now at university in Paris – has ‘blocked me on everything.’
As a result, Kelly sent a voice note to one of her daughter’s friends asking that it be passed along to Jolie, only for the friend to turn around and post a social media video of herself vaping and playing Kelly’s message for the public to hear.
Kelly can be heard furiously lambasting Jolie for ‘taking’ her father’s ‘side,’ and warning that she would publicize recordings she made of her daughter ‘screaming’ at Michael for not buying her a car or taking her on holiday.
The Daily Mail has contacted Kelly for comment.

The voice note went viral on Thanksgiving, at which point Jolie was in Paris, where she posted Insta Stories of a Kim Petras gig she attended that night.
‘Jolie blocked me from everything. So I want you to forward this message to her, okay? Forward this message to her: You just opened up Pandora’s Box, Jolie,’ Kelly said in the voice note, which was sent at a date that remains unknown.Â
‘I have recordings of you screaming at your dad because he hasn’t taken you on vacation, screaming that he didn’t buy you a car,’ she claimed.
‘Do you remember those recordings that I saved? I have those and I am gonna publicly put them out there. Do you understand?’
Kelly then bewailed the fact Jolie would ‘do this to me’ – possibly referring to blocking her – ‘after I bought you a car, paid for your college, paid for your health insurance, took you to the doctor’s, got you all your clothes, housed you, did all that.’
She raged: ‘Meanwhile your dad was banging some f***ing loser and put those three kids first before you. I have all of those, okay?’
It was unclear if she was referring to Laura White, the woman Michael dated for years after his split from Kelly. In 2021, Kelly called her an ‘amazing step Mom’ to Jolie.
In her new voice message for Jolie, Kelly raged that ‘what you just did right now, you’re gonna look like a fool, you dumb little girl. You’re stupid for even thinking that you’re gonna win.’

She then indicated she had retained criminal defense lawyer Cameron Talley, who secured the domestic violence acquittal of MMA fighter Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller, now known as Mayhem the Newsman on The Adam Carrolla Show.Â
In the new voice message meant for Jolie, Kelly sneered that Talley was ‘laughing at you. You’re a joke and so is your dad and for you to even take his side after what he has done to you since seventh grade is absolutely crazy.’

‘You clearly don’t have a teenage daughter if you feel bad for Jolie here. Let alone a spoiled and entitled f***ing brat that uses whatever parent benefits her in the moment. She sure isn’t complaining about that fully luxuriously, furnished apartment in Paris and tuition by Mommy,’ the account continued.

The fan said Jolie ‘needs a cold hard reality check. Uses her mom for fifteen years, and then blocks her to go use her dad who abandoned her now. Little b****.’

‘All family fights and make up, no one is spared. I have seen Kelly and her love for her daughter is so very real, all moms and daughters fight,’ read that message.
‘No one should judge a parents love or anger it’s between her and her daughter. Wishing them peace and working it out.’
The mother and daughter appeared to share a friendly equation as recently as August 2024, when Kelly proudly posted an Instagram video of herself helping Jolie move into her college dormitory in Paris after she graduated high school earlier that year.
However by this August, Kelly’s brother Eric Meza posted a shirtless video of himself fresh out of the shower, sensationally claiming Jolie had ‘disowned’ her mother and ‘has nothing to do with her. Jolie’s done with her. She’s a terrible mom.’
Kelly, who has been married to Fox News personality Rick Leventhal since 2020, fired back dismissing Meza as a ‘psycho’ who was ‘full of s***.’
