Kelly Brook Returns to Big Breakfast: 26 Years After TV Debut, Enjoys Jungle Fry-Up

There’s nothing like a fry-up for spilling the beans, and Kelly Brook did just that yesterday when the I’m A Celebrity camp was treated to a proper breakfast.

Appropriately enough, after three years as a glamour model, Ms Brook, 45, had made a name for herself hosting the Big Breakfast on Channel 4 in 1999.

In a welcome change from the usual morning meal of rice and beans, the campmates were treated to scrambled eggs, baked beans, mushrooms and sausages.

Back on cooking duty, Jack Osbourne, 40 – the son of rocker Ozzy – gave his fellow jungle-dwellers a little taste of home.

Although they’ve had their differences, Ms Brook was full of praise, saying: ‘The mushrooms were to die for!’

The former Page 3 girl was all smiles and make-up free as she chatted to campmates in last night’s episode about being a ‘pin-up’.

Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, 49, joked: ‘You’ve always been a sex kitten… you’ve made a career out of it!’

Ms Brook replied: ‘It’s weird – it doesn’t match your soul, what you portray. The face and the facade and the body doesn’t match the person. I’m a clown inside!’

After modelling, at 19, Ms Brook hosted the Big Breakfast with Johnny Vaughan, but was let go after six months to be replaced by Denise van Outen, who returned to the show after a two-year break.

Also in last night’s episode, a ‘terrified’ Vogue Williams, 40, had to lie in a box with 15 snakes for her first Bushtucker Trial.

The ordeal left the Irish broadcaster screaming, but she won all 12 stars for the camp alongside reality TV star Tom Read-Wilson, 39, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, 34, and former Lioness Alex Scott, 41.
