A telling video has resurfaced suggesting there was already trouble in paradise between Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban a year ago.
During an interview with Gold 101.7’s Jonesy & Amanda in September 2024, Keith went completely cold when he was asked about his ‘amazing love story with Nicole’.
The couple, who met at G’Day LA in 2005, started dating just a few months later before tying the knot in June 2006.
‘If you hadn’t both been there that day, would your paths somewhere have inevitably crossed? Or maybe this incredible life story wouldn’t have happened…’ co-host Amanda asked the country music star.
‘Yeah, probably. No, I think it would,’ the 57-year-old replied, seemingly eager to move on with the line of questioning.
When asked if he believed in fate, the Blue Ain’t Your Colour hitmaker simply replied: ‘No idea.’

An awkward silence ensued, before Amanda continued to dig for more from Keith about his relationship.
‘I just often think that. That if you weren’t at that event, maybe you don’t have the same friendship group, it may never have happened,’ she went on.
Keith proceeded to look agitated as he removed his leather jacket.
‘You never know…’ he said, before nipping it in the bud and urging the hosts to change the topic.
‘Anyways, moving on,’ he said.
The frosty interview, reposted to Facebook, was captioned: ‘Prior to this, Keith Urban loved chatting about Nicole Kidman with us! He encouraged it, actually.’
Fans flooded the comments section, pointing out that the writing has been on the wall for a while now.
‘He looked like [he] didn’t want to talk about it,’ one person wrote.

Fans of Nicole and Keith were left shocked on Monday when it emerged they had split after 19 years of marriage.
But the Oscar winner, 58, and musician’s separation wasn’t a secret to their close friends, who reportedly knew the split was ‘inevitable’.

The actress and musician’s separation was confirmed by the Daily Mail on Monday, with the couple ending their almost two decades of marriage.
It has emerged that Nicole filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, on Tuesday.
A source claimed to the Daily Mail that there is speculation that Keith has already moved on with a younger woman in the music industry.
Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban for comment and has yet to hear back.
