Keith Allen looked unrecognisable as he was spotted outside Grouchos in London on Thursday.
The actor, who is the father of British pop sensation Lily Allen, looked worlds away from his usual appearance as he switched his grey stubble for bushy white facial hair.
The 70-year-old has grown an impressive white moustache, sideburns and beard as he takes on the role of Scrooge in the stage production of A Christmas Carol.
Away from the theatre today, Keith was seen enjoying a cigarette as he debuted his beard in public.
The star wore a slightly odd outfit considering the freezing winter temperatures while he donned a confused expression on his face.

Protecting his bald head, Keith wore a cream beanie hat with a beige jumper.
Yet on his bottom half, the star wore some knee length navy shorts and bright orange trainers.
He completed the look with a pair of light orange-coloured lens glasses as he seemed to go unfazed by the cold.
But it was the facial hair that caught the eye, a departure from the star’s normal salt and pepper coloured stubble.
After opening night kicked off last week, the star is playing the part of Ebenezer Scrooge in the production at Alexandra Palace.
Adapted by Sherlock star Mark Gatiss, and is set to run from November 24 to January 7.
Speaking to The Evening Standard, he opened up about his new facial hair: ‘What’s really weird, not so much for me, but for my family is I don’t feel very comfortable acting with stick-on beards and whiskers.
‘I find it very constricting, so I’ve started to grow these mutton chops already and they think I look idiotic.

Speaking to The Evening Standard, Keith admitted he didn’t like wearing stick-on beards and whiskers so decided to grow his own
‘Unfortunately I’m starting to look like some weird self-absorbed hipster.’
Keith also admitted playing Scrooge was a big bucket list moment.
Describing the production he said this interpretation is very interesting as it explores why Scrooge became the miserable man he is, rather than just taking him at face value.
The original story is one of Charles Dickens’ most famous books since it was first published back in 1843.
