Katy Perry made sure to close out the European leg of The Lifetimes Tour with a bang, as she tattooed someone backstage at Spain’s Movistar Arena, during her last show on Tuesday night.

The singer, 41, kicked off the first of 24 tour dates in Europe last month, wrapping up in Madrid, before she heads off to Asia for the final string of dates, closing out in Abu Dhabi on December 7.

And to commemorate this latest leg, she took to her Instagram on Sunday to share some behind-the-scenes snaps from the final gig, captioned: ‘last show shenanigans in europe’.

Katy looked nothing short of sensational in the shots, flaunting her svelte figure and long legs in a strapless silver dress covered in sparkling jewels.

In between posing up a storm and larking about in the backstage kitchen with her crew, the pop star also tried her hand at tattooing.

A snap saw her concentrating hard and armed with a tattoo gun as she inked a tiny letter ‘K’ onto the wrist of actual tattoo artist, Berni Coronado Morales.

Katy also took to TikTok to show off her artistic skills, sharing a video of the inking process backstage in the stadium and quipping: ‘Taking up a side job while in-between tour legs as a tattoo artist’.

Referencing her brand new single, she added: ‘who needs a bandaid?’

Her inking of Berni came in response to the artist tattooing the hitmaker and her crew with matching tattoos,  ahead of the close of The Lifetimes Tour.

Katy debuted the inking of half a butterfly on her wrist last week, posing with another pal with the mirror image of the same drawing side-by-side, to create the whole image of the insect.

However, her followers were quick to presume that the other person with the same tattoo was her new boyfriend, Justin Trudeau.

The couple kicked off speculation about a budding romance in July when they were spotted having an intimate dinner at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.

The songstress and the former Canadian PM, 53, then confirmed the romance earlier this month, and fans questioned if the pair had taken their relationship to the next level by getting matching inkings.

Rushing to the comments, they wrote: ‘Matching tats with Justin?’; ‘Is the other hand Mr T’s hand?’

‘Damn! I thought you were getting JT’s initials! He’s the luckiest man on earth’; ‘Who has other tattoo?’

But Katy clarified the tattoos were for her and her crew, and even included a snap of another member of her team getting the symbol inked on her back in her latest Instagram dump.

It comes after the Dark Horse star released the gory music video for her new song Bandaids earlier this month, which hints at the reason for her split with Orlando Bloom.

The pair’s relationship broke down in June, after dating on-and-off for almost a decade and welcoming daughter Daisy Dove, five, in 2020.

And Katy’s latest single features obvious references to her relationship with the actor, 48, while crediting Daisy with giving her the strength to keep going.

She admitted she ‘struggled for months’ with the idea of releasing the song, because she found it ‘scary to be vulnerable’.

Sharing a slew of behind-the-scenes snaps from the music video, she thanked her fans for their support for Bandaids and explained she hoped it would help others in a similar situation to ‘find the strength to keep going like I have’.

Katy wrote: ‘thank you for the love on bandaids… tbh I struggled for months with the idea of putting this song out… even after all these years it can be scary to be vulnerable…

‘but hopefully the lyrics of this song resonate with someone going through what I have been through and maybe they won’t feel so alone and will find the strength to keep going like I have’.
