The singer, 40, who confirmed her split from fiancé Orlando Bloom in June, and the former Canadian Prime Minister, 53, set tongues wagging when they were spotted dining together in Montreal last month.
And despite attending Perry’s Montreal show with daughter Ella-Grace, 16, on July 30, fans were left were left hoping the hunky political would make another appearance.
Taking to TikTok fans speculated over his attendance as well as footage of a private box which they were convinced is where he would sit.
They gushed: ‘Who wants to bet he’ll show up at the Toronto show???’ while another praised the show by complained: ‘No Justin in sight’.
During the July 30 concert Trudeau appeared completely mesmerised and even mouthed along several of the words to her song Dark Horse.

Fans weighed in on the possible new romance, with one joking in the comments section of Pop Crave’s post about the sighting: ‘Bro must be DOWN BAD if he’s willing to go to lifetimes concert.’
‘Imagine getting good seats at a concert and you see a former head of state just hanging out to support his new girlfriend,’ another posted.
One fan expressed themselves with a GIF of a gleeful Wendy Williams sipping from her tea.
‘Wait is she gonna be the president of Canada now,’ another asked, despite Justin no longer being Prime Minister of the country.
‘This is genuinely the happiest he’s been in a while,’ another noted along with video of someone laughing.
The pair’s cosy dinner date came just weeks after the Firework hitmaker ended her engagement to actor Orlando, 48, following nine years of an on-and-off relationship.
