 Recently separated couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have made the bizarre move of seemingly joining newlyweds Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez on their honeymoon.

Despite the heartbreaking announcement that Katy and Orlando would be ‘shifting’ their relationship to mere co-parents of their child, the pair seem to be in no rush to spend time apart.

The 40-year-old pop star and 48-year-old actor made a united stand as they were joined by four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove aboard the superyacht.

The family looked more than happy to be together on the Mediterranean as they crashed what most would consider to be the honeymoon of the 61-year-old Amazon founder and the 55-year-old former journalist.

No doubt Katy was making up for lost time as she was noticeably missing in action at Bezos and Sanchez’s star-studded $50million nuptials in Venice as she was touring in Australia at the time.

Newly-single Orlando certainly enjoyed flying solo at the luxurious affair as he spent time with newly-single Sydney Sweeney,  hung out with Tom Brady and Leonardo DiCaprio, and even seen spending time with a mystery woman.

Regardless, Orlando looked happy to be with his loved ones aboard the luxury cruiser as he sweetly threw his daughter up in the air, caught her, and kissed her on the cheek as Katy looked on.

The Dark Horse hitmaker showed off her lithe frame in a black bikini while enjoying her time off the Italian coast.

The outing on the massive boat came just days after they finally broke their silence after a week of swirling speculation that they have called it quits on their romance.

The pair began dating in 2016 and got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019, before welcoming their daughter into the world.

After the couple were trailed by rumors about the state of their relationship, it was widely reported Wednesday that they have gone their separate ways.

Orlando shared a cryptic Instagram post about ‘loneliness’ and ‘darkness’ last week, while Katy was seen breaking down in tears onstage at her last Australian show.

Now, representatives for the pair have confirmed to DailyMail.com that ‘Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.’

Last week, a source told Us Weekly: ‘Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,’ while also adding that the separation has been ‘not contentious’ thus far.

‘Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.’

The Teenage Dream hitmaker – who is currently embarking on her Lifetimes Tour – was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012. 

The insider further added that the reported breakup had been ‘a long time coming’ and that their relationship had also been ‘tense for months.’ 

In the wake of the separation, Orlando whisked himself away to Venice to attend the aforementioned nuptials between Bezos and Sanchez last weekend. 

Katy, who had been a guest at Lauren’s bachelorette party in Paris and was also one of the bride’s fellow passengers on the controversial all-female Blue Origin space flight launched by Jeff, was not in attendance.

When it emerged that Orlando was going to the wedding alone, Katy’s absence was explained away as a scheduling conflict with her Lifetimes tour in Australia. 

At the wedding, Orlando was spotted mingling with a number of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Sydney Sweeney. 

Fresh from three days partying at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s Venice wedding extravaganza, Orlando headed on board Ritz-Carlton’s gleaming 794ft Luminara for its inaugural cruise from Rome.

The family were also seen taking a romantic stroll through the streets of Amalfi

Orlando was also recently spotted cozying up to Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, during a water taxi ride as they headed to the airport following the Amazon founder’s wedding this past weekend.

During one of the early shows of her Lifetimes Tour in Mexico City this April, Katy had been seen sobbing while singing her song Pearl about leaving a troubled romance.

Last week, after news had spread of her split from Orlando, she once again fought back tears while addressing a concert audience in Adelaide, holding her hands in the shape of a heart and saying: ‘Thank you, Australia, for always being there for me.’

Orlando meanwhile shared cryptic social media posts about ‘loneliness’ and ‘darkness,’ intensifying the speculation about his relationship status.

One of his uploads was a bowdlerized quote by the late psychiatrist Carl Jung, reading: ‘Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself.’

Orlando posted another quote, this one also by Jung, that read: ‘Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.’ 

Two days before the split went public, DailyMail.com reported the couple were renting out their $30 million Montecito mansion to Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Katy and Orlando were also said to have been living apart ever since the kickoff of the Lifetimes Tour this April, according to an Us Weekly source.

The duo were first linked when they attended a Golden Globes afterparty together in January 2016, and have been on-and-off in the intervening years.

Early in their romance, they hit the headlines when Orlando was spotted completely naked during a paddle-boarding romp with Katy in Sardinia. 

They broke up in 2017 but had reignited their romance by the following year, and on Valentine’s Day 2019 he proposed with what appeared to be a more than 4-carat ring – one thought to be worth $5 million, according to E! News.

Meanwhile, an insider recently told DailyMail.com: ‘Katy has been through it the last few months.

‘Leaving American Idol, releasing her lackluster album, the debacle over her space mission, and her struggling tour have been disappointing and stressful,’ the insider said.

‘There aren’t many people she can dump her emotions on, but obviously she can with Orlando. But with his work and juggling parenting, life as of late has put a strain on their relationship,’ the source added.
