Katy and Justin kicked off speculation about a budding romance in July when they were spotted having an intimate dinner at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.
The singer appeared seemingly unbothered after a photo of ex Orlando posing with Rachel Lynn Matthews circulated online.
The actor’s relationship with the songstress broke down in July after nine years together. Since the breakup, the singer has made headlines for her rumoured new romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 53.
Orlando sent tongues wagging after he put on a cosy display with Rachel, who mocked Katy’s Blue Origin Space flight trip.
Back in April, the 11-minute expedition received backlash for its jaw-dropping price tag, for its questionable environmental impact, and for the bizarre and dramatic antics of its six-person crew after they touched down on Earth’s soil.
Katy kissed the ground as she descended from the Blue Origin capsule, before launching into an emotional post-flight interview with reporters.
Bearing a striking resemblance to Orlando’s ex, Rachel donned a blue catsuit that Katy wore for the mission and rocked a jet black wig.
The actress openly mocked the singer by recreating the photo of Katy kissing the ground and wrote: ‘Take up space!’.
Orlando, who wore skeleton face paint, has faced backlash from fans, with some branding it ‘disrespectful’.

The viral photo comes as Katy released the video for her new song Bandaids on Thursday.
The song has obvious references to their relationship and hints at the reason for their breakup.
Meanwhile Katy admitted she struggled for months’ with the idea of releasing her new song, following her split from Orlando.
The singer surprised fans on Thursday by dropping her latest hit, Bandaids, which features obvious references to her relationship with the actor and hints at the reason for their breakup.
Over Halloween weekend, Orlando seemingly made a barbed jibe at his ex-fiancée when he posed with actress Rachel Lynn Matthews, who was dressed up as the singer at a party
And taking to her Instagram on Sunday, she confessed to holding off the song’s release for months, because she found it ‘scary to be vulnerable’.
Sharing a slew of behind-the-scenes snaps from the gory music video, Katy thanked her fans for their support for Bandaids and explained she hoped it would help others in a similar situation to ‘find the strength to keep going like I have’.
She wrote: ‘thank you for the love on bandaids… tbh I struggled for months with the idea of putting this song out… even after all these years it can be scary to be vulnerable…
‘but hopefully the lyrics of this song resonate with someone going through what I have been through and maybe they won’t feel so alone and will find the strength to keep going like I have ‘.
