It might be a mere clasping of hands, but it’s a sign that perhaps Katie Price has proved her doubters wrong and she has found love again, after all.

Gently holding on to her new husband Lee Andrews, the glamour model steps into a pool at the lavish One&Only Royal Mirage hotel in Dubai where she is currently enjoying a sun-soaked honeymoon following her shock wedding.
Scantily clad to the extreme in a bright orange swimsuit which left little to the imagination of her well-heeled fellow holidaymakers, she was smiling as she and her latest spouse (her fourth) relaxed in the water.
Her choice of swimwear showcased her surgeon’s handiwork following a recent £2,000 butt lift, which she underwent at the London-based Clinic Hub before jetting out to the Middle East to be reunited with her man.
The newlyweds were later lying on a sunbed with their legs intertwined as they basked in the Dubai sun.

One onlooker tells me: ‘Katie’s ridiculous swimming costume aside, she and Lee actually looked happy together. There was lots of hand holding and smiles, and when they were on their sunbeds they appeared to be getting about as intimate as you can in public in Dubai.
‘They looked like other honeymooners – bar that swimsuit – and seemed happy and loving life.’

Katie, 47, arrived in Dubai a fortnight after the January wedding that caught fans and family by surprise. Wearing a £12 dress from Chinese online marketplace Shein, Katie married Lee at the One&Only The Palm hotel, barely a diamond engagement ring’s throw from their luxurious honeymoon hideout.
The Royal Mirage is described by the global One&Only chain as ‘an exceptional one-off resort in Dubai, which blends timeless Arabian architecture with modern energy’. It also boasts 1km of private beach fringing the Arabian Gulf, 65 acres of landscaped gardens and a ‘world class’ spa.
There is a suggestion that Katie’s huge social media following may have granted her a ‘special deal’ from the hotel owners. ‘You wouldn’t be surprised if it was a freebie,’ suggested one source who has worked with Katie previously. ‘She knows what she’s doing on that front.’
But does she when it comes to choosing her partner? For when she flew home after the ceremony, worried friends and family had been ‘deeply concerned’ that she had walked down the aisle so suddenly, having only met Lee a few weeks before.
It was also so soon after her split from Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, as it was only a matter of days before Lee seized his chance and proposed.

One member of Katie’s network told me that those close to her think her marriage to Lee – who lied about being a billionaire and having a PhD from Cambridge – was a sign that she was ‘struggling with her life’.
Team Katie was further concerned when Lee was exposed as a real-life ‘Walter Mitty’ character, after numerous AI-generated pictures of him with celebrities were posted to his social media.
Should Katie’s friends intervene or should she be free to make her own relationship choices regardless of the risks?
‘There was a time, just after she returned to the UK, where we thought that Katie might have realised she had made a mistake,’ said one source.
‘We hoped that she was beginning to realise that Lee might not have been the man she thought he was – though they fear that she will struggle to admit it, even to her nearest and dearest.’

Now, Katie’s friends and family will be torn over the future of her marriage. Some are, of course, thrilled for her but others are well-practised at being by her side when her relationships implode.
First there was Peter Andre, the reality star whom she met in the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2004. The pair tied the knot at Highclere Castle in Hampshire the next year. Following their split, she quickly went on to wed cage fighter Alex Reid in Las Vegas in 2010.

Then, in 2013, she tied the knot with Kieran Hayler at a surprise wedding in the Bahamas, followed by a Willy Wonka-themed blessing at Rookery Manor in Somerset.
So, was it love that brought Katie and her current husband together? Not according to some, who describe it as a publicity stunt, driven by a ‘need’ to capture the public’s attention having been unhappy with the little exposure she had been getting.
‘It’s hard to tell what’s worse, that Katie is with this man or that she was in such a dark space that she needed the attention from both a man and the public,’ said a friend of Katie’s.
One thing’s for sure, though, this is just the beginning...
