Katie Price has revealed that she’s decided to start giving her son Harvey CBD gummies, after he accidentally took two and they made him ‘nice and chilled’.
The former glamour model, 47, took to her Instagram on Monday to promote Olympic boxer Anthony Fowler’s company, Supreme CBD, by sharing a video of her talking about the gummies with his girlfriend, Serena Stregapede.
In the clip, Katie explained her eldest child, 23, had taken some of her gummies, and she’d been pleasantly surprised about the effect they’d had on him.
Harvey is blind, autistic, has septo-optic dysplasia, a learning disability and is one of the 2,000 people in the UK with Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic disorder.
Katie insisted that she’d tried anything with Harvey that hadn’t been medically prescribed, but that he’d been ‘nice and chilled’ after taking CBD and that it had ‘taken the edge off’ his anxiety.
She explained: ‘Because Harvey, he’s got ADHD, behaviour problems all of that. He took a couple. And I’m like Harv!

‘But then I thought, you know what? Just see what it does to him, because he’s got all his medical problems. And he was just nice and chilled.
‘When I say chilled, normally he gets a bit of anxiety, especially if I’m taking him out somewhere, then he starts talking, talking more. And I thought why not give him two?
‘Because he saw them in the jar, when I went “No, you can’t have them, they’re mummy’s” and he’s like, “No I want one!” So I said you can have two and he took the green ones because he loves green.
‘And I said, “Do you like them?” and he said, “Yeah, can I have more?” and I went, “No, we’ll have two later when you come back.”‘
She went on: ‘And then yeah, it calmed him down as well. So he’s on all the proper medications for behaviour and stuff and I gave him two of them because he’s like 28 stone, so I thought it’s be all right to have two. And it just chilled him.
‘I’ve never ever gone out the box of trying anything else than what he’s been prescribed and because I know it’s not a drug, I just gave him two green ones and it just slightly took the edge off for him. So I was really surprised.’
Katie explained that Harvey was set to move back home next month, and that she intended to start giving him the CBD gummies regularly.
She said: ‘I had him home for four days. He’s moving back home in about four weeks, I found him a place. So I’m going to start him on that as well.’

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant that can be extracted and used in various forms such as oil, capsules or edibles.
It is a popular supplement used for various purposes, including pain management, anxiety relief, and sleep improvement.
But while the NHS acknowledges that CBD does have ‘medical benefits,’ it adds that there is no guarantee that even products sold in health stores will be of ‘good quality’.
Moreover, the oil can affect how other medicines work, meaning a specialist should always be consulted about using it in conjunction with other treatments, while doctors should monitor users regularly because it can affect the liver.
Captioning the video on her social media, Katie insisted: ‘I would only ever recommend stuff that works to you all and I would only ever give Harv the gummies after trying them myself and seeing how much of a difference they have made for me’.
However, her frequent promotion of Supreme CBD has landed her in hot water in the past, with her being branded as ‘irresponsible’ for extolling the benefits of the product, including claims it can cure cancer.
Company founder Anthony has been slammed as ‘rancid’ for claiming CBD oil ‘healed’ his daughter’s tumour to help flog his product.
He revealed last year that his daughter Roma, now three, had been suffering with a tumour and that he had used CBD oil to address it, then sharing separate posts boasting about refusing chemotherapy for her.
And in April, Katie weighed in by also claiming Anthony’s daughter has been ‘healed’ after the family refused hospital treatment.
There is no evidence that CBD oil can cure cancer.
‘Very serious chat with Srena Stregapede and Anthony Fowler about their two-year-old daughter who had a tumour in her leg, they refused hospital treatment and healed her themselves which is amazing,’ she wrote on X.
‘They was (sic) telling me all about Supreme CBD and how it works for fibromyalgia, arthritis, anxiety/depression any aches/pains or insomnia,’ she added, before posting a checkout code.
Social media users soon piled in to pan the former I’m A Celebrity contestant, branding her post ‘dangerous’.
‘F***ing rancid behaviour.’; ‘It’s a big con. You know you are being a con artist’; ‘It does not cure cancer ffs!’
‘It is irresponsible to suggest CBD would shrink a tumour like that. CBD used responsibly & in conjunction with other medicines can have huge pain relieving, calming properties etc. But no reputable CBD supplier would allow endorsement like this, it is illegal to do so.’
‘Very serious chat to spread seriously dangerous anti scientific s**** to gullible morons.’

It comes after Katie revealed Harvey was ‘coming home for good’, after she struggled to secure him a place at a residential college amid cuts to council funding and her bankruptcy.
The mum-of-five explained in July that her son would begin ‘independent living’ in a new place that is nearer to her home in Sussex, after previously lamenting the long distance between them.
He had been living at £350,000-a-year specialist institution National Star since 2021, but amid cuts to funding and Katie’s financial woes, he was withdrawn last year.
She then had a difficult time trying find him a new place, with one care home calling him ‘too difficult’ and the West Sussex County Council slashing his funding.
But, in the summer she revealed on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, that Harvey was leaving his college and heading out into the ‘real world’.
Katie said: ‘Harvey is doing the countdown for his new place. He’s got his leavers ceremony where they give out certificates and then it’s the “real world” Mr Harvey Price.’
She explained that he was going first to a temporary accommodation, before beginning his new placement in Littlehampton in October.
She said: ‘I’ve found him a place in Southampton which is temporary. It’s got five other adults in it.

‘Then he moves to his place in October, which is Littlehampton, which will be nearer to me. He’s going from college to independent living.’
The TV personality got candid on her podcast as she detailed what a difficult undertaking it had been trying to get Harvey into a new institution for months on end, since she was forced to withdraw him from National Star.
Though he later returned to school, she was hit by another hurdle in February when he lost a place at a care home for being ‘too difficult’.
At the time Katie explained how Harvey had lost his place weeks before the move after management changed and they determined that they couldn’t cater for his needs.
Reflecting on the tough journey, she said: ‘We worked months and months for that and he was told four-and-a-half weeks before that he couldn’t go there, and Harvey has been doing the countdown.
‘Well it’s stressful because you want the right thing for your child and it is a lot of time and effort to go back and do more meetings, more forms, it is very time-consuming because you want the best for your child.’
She has also frequently stressed the challenges of Harvey being placed a long distance away from her and admitted that he often became upset and wanted to return home.
In July last year, she revealed that the local authority had cut Harvey’s funding because he has ‘no healthcare issues’, with an assessor concluding that he ‘only needs social care’.
Katie – who was declared bankrupt for a second time last year over an unpaid tax bill worth more than £750,000 – had been trying to secure funding to extend his time at National Star for another year.
She was Harvey’s primary caregiver until he turned 19, and in 2021 filmed his move into the college as part of BBC documentary Katie Price: Harvey and Me.
His biological father is former footballer Dwight York, who briefly dated Katie in 2001, before breaking up soon after she fell pregnant with Harvey.
The ex premier league star denied he was the father, until a DNA test proved his paternity, but Katie has claimed that he has barely seen their son since he was born.
