KATIE Price has taken a swipe at I’m A Celebrity’s Danny Jones as she praises Maura Higgins after their drunken Brits kiss earlier this year.
On the latest episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, talk soon turned to the Love Island star.
Her sister Sophie read out an article that claimed Katie had an “obsession” to look like Maura.
Setting the record straight, the mum-of-five divulged: “Maura is absolutely beautiful and I put up a post and I sent her a message saying, ‘You’re absolutely stunning’.
“Now I am not obsessed with anything or anyone. Am I not allowed to say another woman is pretty?
“If I was obsessed with Maura Higgins, my boobs are a helluva lot bigger, I would have my boobs out, I wouldn’t add more tattoos to myself.
“I have very long hair, I have eyelash extensions, I have lip filler, nothing like what Maura Higgins has done.
“She’s beautiful and I think she’s the most stunning person in the UK by far, that’s it.”
Sophie cheekily asked: “But would you kiss Danny Jones?”
Katie firmly responded: “No thank you,” as her sister added: “Nah, not for me either.”
The McFly singer and Maura shared a drunken snog at a Brits after party in March, much to the shock of the whole of the UK, including his wife Georgia.
An onlooker said at the time: “Danny and Maura seemed to be having a great time.
“They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss.
“Danny and Maura seem to have a close friendship after meeting in the jungle.”
He broke his silence as he shared a statement on Instagram as he apologised to Georgia for his actions.
He penned: “Hello everyone. Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.
“I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.
“I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”
The Voice judge continued: “I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding and support.
“See you all soon, Danny,” he signed off.
Pals said at the time that Danny was keen to draw a line under the scandal, which saw him hold crisis meetings with Georgia.
In September, he risked an awkward run-in with Maura as they reunited on stage to collect an NTA gong for their series of the ITV show.
With Ant and Dec in South Africa filming the upcoming spin-off sequel – Danny took lead on the speech.
He ended the acceptance speech by saying: “Thanks you so much to all the viewers and the voters we love you all. Have an amazing night.”
It’s unclear whether the pair actually interacted over the course of the night, with Danny having his arm around Melvin Odoom and the Love Island star standing with Coleen Rooney.
