KATIE Price has revealed the staggering amount of times footballer Dwight Yorke has allegedly refused to meet his son, Harvey.
The former glamour model, 47, fell pregnant during a brief fling with Dwight in 2001, welcoming Harvey, now 23, in May the following year.
Harvey, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, doesn’t have a relationship with his dad – with Katie previously blasting Dwight’s lack of involvement.
Talking in a new podcast, Life Stories by Lewis Nicholls, Katie claimed that Dwight refuses to meet his son every single year.
“We know that you had Harvey with Dwight, footballer -,” begins Lewis in the trailer for the interview.
Katie interjects to correct: “Sperm donor.”
Lewis asks: “Did he ever want anything to do – was he there supporting the pregnancy?”
The trailer then cuts to Katie saying: “For me, I thought it’s important that when Harvey grows up, I never want him to say, ‘Why didn’t you let my dad see me?’ and all of that. But Harvey doesn’t understand, which is probably a good thing.”
Revealing just how often she tries to rebuild a relationship, Katie continues: “Every year, my mum contacts his manager, ‘Do you want to see Harvey for his birthday? Do you want to see him for Christmas?’
“It’s always the same answer, just not interested.”
Previously, Katie said the last time Dwight saw Harvey was in 2012, and he told her he didn’t want to be in his life.
Earlier this year, the star took another swipe at the sportsman when she claimed he had been unfaithful.
“I was with Dwight Yorke, but he cheated on me and that ended anyway and he wasn’t around for Harv,” she said on podcast Outlet Ten Discussion.
“So, that’s a different thing. I fended for myself, for me and Harv.
“Even though Dwight is very welcome, any time, to come into Harvey’s life, because I’m not that kind of person.”
Alongside Harvey, Katie is a mum to four other children; Junior and Princess, who she shares with Peter Andre, and Bunny and Jett, who she shares with Kieran Hayler.
