has shared behind-the-scenes footage on Sunday as she insists the 'plot thickens' after husband ditched their joint Good Morning Britain interview.

Lee was due to reunite with his wife Katie for an  interview last Monday but failed to get on a flight, later claiming that he had 'things to do' but was still on his way.

Katie, who wed Lee in January following a whirlwind ten-day romance, then branded their relationship a 'soap opera' before seemingly hinting that the marriage was over by emerging without her wedding ring.

However, the former glamour model has now shared a new YouTube video revealing the behind the scenes of her GMB interview as she said 'if Lee doesn't come he’s digging a hole'.

Speaking to her cameraman following the live chat, she said: 'I wasn't nervous at all, I didn't know what they wanted me to say.

'They contacted the foreign office, I don't know why they would have done that because it's not Lee. He hasn't been detained, I've just been on the phone to him. The plot thickens.'

Lee was due to reunite with his wife Katie for an ITV interview last Monday but failed to get on a flight, later claiming that he had 'things to do' but was still on his way

Her cameraman attempted to explain to Katie that Lee could be detained in Dubai and still contact her, as being detained is not an individual being imprisoned.

As the YouTube video continued, the TV personality chatted to her mum on FaceTime and insisted: 'He's [Lee's] at the airport now but if he doesn't come he's digging a hole for himself isn't it. What else can I say. It is what it is.'

As she was leaving the studio, Katie added: 'I'm very happy, now back to Harvey'.

Climbing into her waiting taxi, the reality star attempted to ring Lee, eventually she got through to her husband.

She said: 'I've just tried to call you and got into the car but basically they emailed the foreign office and found out 20 minutes before I got on the show that you were detained. I didn't understand it all happened so quick.

'They were all like he was at the airport in that video but why didn't he get on the plane and none of them believe you that you're coming. Everyone is like Kate we don't believe him he's not coming and I'm like he is.

Lee could be heard in the background replying to Katie saying: 'Hmmmm.'

She added: 'That's it but no one believes you're coming, the fact is you have to get here to prove them wrong. And people are like do you know anything about this man.'

It comes after Katie feared that husband Lee had 'been kidnapped' and claimed he was 'detained in a van with his hands tied' after going missing four days ago.

Speaking in an update to her channel on Saturday, she said that the last time she heard from the Dubai-based businessman, 42, he had been 'captured in a van with his hands tied'.

Katie explained that their last conversation took place at 10pm on Wednesday as he travelled through the border at Hatta, but his phone then 'went dead'.

She added that she had been in contact with the 'head of CID in ' who was unable to locate him but confirmed he had 'not been detained'.

Climbing into her taxi, the reality star rang Lee, 'They were all like he was at the airport in that video but why didn't he get on the plane and none of them believe you that you're coming'

Katie gave a glimpse of her text messages to her mum

Katie wrote in the caption: 'On Wednesday night my husband was detained in a van by the Oman border near Hatta.

'I have not heard from him since, despite getting the authorities involved, nobody knows where he is.'

Katie had previously said on her Instagram Story, that Lee may not be en route to the UK despite 'promising one billion per cent'.

She said: 'I hate this, is he getting on the flight or isn't he? I hate this waiting about because he said he is and is at the airport, had his visa stamped, paid for it. So there's no reason why he can't.'

When asked how she would feel if he didn't turn up, she replied: 'I'd be very disappointed if he doesn't because he one hundred, one billion per cent said he is coming.'

Katie has also wiped a number of recent reunion snaps of the pair after eagle-eyed fans spotted it on Instagram.

'I could be wrong but I swear there were more pictures and recent as well of him,' said one fan.

'Whether she’s starting to get p***** off and she’s started removing pictures of him I don’t know, but it’s not looking good for "doctor" Lee Andrews.'

Other TikTok users agreed the photos had disappeared from her Instagram: 'She’s deleted loads.'

She previously hinted that the marriage was already over by emerging without her wedding ring the previous day, while Andrews uncharacteristically switched off his comments on social media.

But taking to Instagram on Friday, Katie insisted her husband had merely taken an intentional step back from Instagram in a bid to protect their privacy.

She wrote: 'Due to all the madness of trolling, people's speculation and media frenzy that as a couple we have both decided @wesleeandrews is taking a break from social media and we are keeping things between us for now as it's our life and marriage and are very happy.' [sic].
