Katie Price Moves to Dubai Amid Family Concerns

Katie Price is reportedly leaving the UK and relocating to Dubai with her husband Lee Andrews for a 'fresh start' because of her financial woes. 

The former glamour model, 47,  shocked fans last month when she revealed she had tied the knot for the fourth time to the so-called businessman and is said to have put a deposit down on a house in the UAE.

Katie was first declared bankrupt in November 2019, and then was made bankrupt again in March 2024 over an unpaid tax bill worth more than £750,000.

And she was forced to sell her Mucky Mansion in January last year for a knock-down price of £1.15million after failing to keep up with mortgage payments.

She now makes a living by selling racy pics and videos on OnlyFans but she is said to have no choice but to move as she can't afford her rent in England.

A source told The Mirror: 'Katie owes a lot of money here. [She] doesn't have the money to keep renting a place in the UK. She'll be with Lee in Dubai and try have a base at a friend's place in the UK. She won't have a house here. Lee's business is in Dubai.'

'Katie's guy knows Dubai like the back of his hand. Both of them want a new start, especially Katie. She also doesn't have much of a choice - if she wants to properly make a future with Lee, she's going to have to make that choice.'

The insider added that Katie's family are 'very worried' about her amid her hasty marriage to Lee. 

They also said the reality star would not be bringing her eldest son Harvey, 23, with her to Dubai. He has Prader-Willi Syndrome and lives in an independent living facility with 24-hour help. 

The insider stressed Katie is a 'great mum' and would never want to 'abandon' Harvey but she doesn't want to disrupt his current living situation. She will instead reportedly fly back and forth to see him. 

Daily Mail has contacted representatives of Katie Price for comment. 

Her family have shared their fears over Katie 'splashing the cash' on the Dubai home, reportedly saying they are 'anxious this is a potential scam'.  

A source told The Sun that Katie has put money down on a home with Lee in the UAE, with the contract signed. 

'She is really excited and thinks she is going to have her happy ending with Lee but those close to Katie fear this could be the start of a potential scam,' they said.

A source said: 'Katie owes a lot of money here. [She] doesn't have the money to keep renting a place in the UK' 

They added: 'Katie's guy knows Dubai like the back of his hand. Both of them want a new start, especially Katie' 

The source added that when Katie returned to Dubai she was meant to come home after two days but has yet to. 

They said: 'Katie says she is busy planning her new life with Lee and has splashed the cash on this property – but it's making her closest friends and family anxious. 

'They're concerned about his motives and that is only natural given what some of his ex partners have said.'

The mother-of-five is currently enjoying her honeymoon in Dubai with Lee and was due to return home swiftly - however she has stayed in the country. 

The Daily Mail previously revealed Lee spent three weeks locked up in a UAE jail for allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend's signature to take out a £200,000 loan in his ex's name and has been banned from leaving the country. He denies this, but as yet, does not appear to have left the country.

Lee had previously said he would be flying to the UK to meet Katie there soon after they wed, but changed his mind and decided to stay in Dubai to find them a home together.

He then said he would be leaving the country so they could go travelling to start their honeymoon, but they still seem to be in the United Arab Emirates.

In a slew of romantic snaps posted on Monday morning, Lee and Katie cosied up in what appeared to be heavily filtered images shared on AI-loving Lee's Instagram account, which he shared shortly after Katie defended her husband in the face of the accusations. 

The couple posed up a storm in the images, one of which saw the couple place their hands over their faces to show the matching tattoos - after the duo had their names inked on their hands while Lee's features the 'spiritual' numbers 11.11.

Just a day before, Katie finally addressed her whirlwind marriage, dismissing concerns about her new husband by insisting: 'I'm not stupid, I know what I'm doing.'

But her new marriage has sparked concern from loved ones, as Lee's facade has since crumbled, with accusations of using AI, appearing on an escort site and having a colourful history with women.

Several of his ex-partners have made a slew of bombshell accusations against him, and issued public warnings to Katie, urging her to 'run for the hills'.

However, the mother-of-five continued to defend her husband on Sunday, as she addressed the romance for the first time in her latest YouTube video, stating she was 'not a young kid' and 'will do what I want to do'.

While packing her bags ready to go visit Lee in Dubai, she began: 'I'm going back to Dubai, obviously going back to see Lee. I've made no comments about anything, I don't feel I need to make comments about anything...

'I'm fully aware like everyone else, I see stuff, I get sent stuff. What I want everyone to know is, I'm a grown a**e woman.

It was claimed Katie's family are deeply concerned about the speed of the relationship and are preparing to sit her down for a 'serious talk' over her marriage. 

Katie's daughter Princess is said to be 'completely horrified' by her mother's wedding to Lee. 

Following the number of outrageous exposés about Lee's work and relationships, Princess took matters into her own hands after getting 'alarm bells'.

'Princess learnt about her mum's wedding online like everyone else and has been completely horrified', a source said.

'She's read the stories and all the stuff on TikTok about his ex wives and instantly alarm bells started ringing', The Sun reports.

The publication alleged that Princess helped stage an intervention between her mum and Lee's exes before she returned to Dubai for her honeymoon.

The insider continued: 'Princess is very sharp and realised straight away that if her mum wouldn't listen to her or any of their family, she might take on board what women in the same situation have had to say about it all.

'She saw her mum a few days ago and forced her to speak to his exes to hear their side of the story.'

The sourced added Princess is 'utterly heartbroken and deeply concerned' about her mum.

Katie and Princess' representatives declined to comment.
