Katie Price has shockingly claimed that the ‘same people’ who once fuelled her drug habit are now attempting to target daughter Princess.
The ex glamour model, 47, infamously tested positive for alcohol and cocaine after flipping her BMW onto its side on a country road near her West Sussex home in 2021. Following the accident Katie spent time in celebrity rehab clinic The Priory where she was diagnosed with PTSD.
Speaking on the latest episode of her The Katie Price Show podcast the star recalled how so called friends would encourage her drug taking and were now ‘jumping on the bandwagon’ by attempting to contact Princess following the teen’s rise to fame.
She said: ‘Instead of people helping me and recognising, like the friends I have around me now, and the friends I’ve had for years who don’t do it, I would never dream of asking them: ‘Look, please, can you get me some?”.
‘Because they’d be like: ‘What? F**k off Kate, are you joking? What’s the matter with you?’ These people were never like that. Instead they’d be getting on it as well. That’s what didn’t help’.
Katie went on to recall that upon entering rehab she deleted all her former friend’s phone numbers and as a result no longer has contact with them, but said that some have still been trying to get hold of her daughter.

‘They make you delete [all their numbers] in The Priory, but it is interesting. But yeah, all them people know who they are.’
She continued: ‘It’s funny how some of them people have messaged Princess as well, now her show’s on telly, trying to jump on the bandwagon,’.
MailOnline have contacted Princess’ reps for comment.
Opening up about the car incident in her 2024 autobiography, This Is Me, the mother-of-five admitted that she’d ‘had some friends round for a few hours’ before the crash.
Katie wrote: ‘One of them had some coke on them and, yes, I had a little bit of it, probably a couple of lines, it wasn’t even a lot. I had some alcohol too.’
But she insisted that she had not been ‘thinking straight’ at the time, because her daughter Princess – who she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre – had called her ‘upset’.
She recalled: ‘I could tell she was upset so I asked her what was wrong.
My daughter was ringing to tell me she wasn’t allowed to see me and my heart just broke.’

Taking of pals plying her with drugs she said: ‘These people were never like that. Instead they’d be getting on it as well. That’s what didn’t help’

She said: ‘It’s funny how some of them people have messaged Princess as well, now her show’s on telly, trying to jump on the bandwagon,’.
She said she ‘wasn’t thinking straight’, before adding: ‘I needed to go right that minute and I didn’t care that it was 2am. I didn’t care about anything anymore.’
Katie managed to avoid jailtime for the accident, instead being handed a 16-week suspended jail sentence and 100 hours community service.
She was also slapped with a two-year driving ban, after agreeing to take a drink-drive rehabilitation course, which reduced the ban by 24 weeks.
Katie previously told MailOnline that her mental health was at rock bottom at the time of the crash, explaining: ‘I live in the countryside, I had no outlet, I needed to talk to someone and that night I let myself down.’
‘I am not justifying anything, there was a reason why I got in the car and why my head was like that.
‘Unfortunately, I did get into that place. I would never get into that place again. It happened and it’s real but I have learnt.’
It comes just days after Peter locked horns with Katie by releasing a bombshell statement accusing her of ‘peddling baseless lies.’
The former couple were married from 2005 to 2009 and are parents daughter Princess and son Junior, 20.
Sharing a statement on social media about the living situation of their children in response to Katie’s recent remarks suggesting they live equally between them.
He wrote: ‘For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.
‘The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.

It comes after Katie took to Instagram and told fans her anxiety and PTSD had been triggered like never before in recent days

In her Instagram caption, Katie added: ‘The past 10 days have been a lot, thank you to everyone who has messaged me’

Katie and Peter Andre, who share daughter Princess and son Junior, have been locked in a row after he released a bombshell statement accusing her of ‘peddling baseless lies’
‘In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.
‘In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today.
‘Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.’
Rumours of a ‘rift’ between Katie and Princess, 18, have also been growing in recent weeks, after the mother-of-five was banned from appearing in her new ITV2 series The Princess Diaries.
Katie has since broken her silence on the drama in the newest episode of her podcast, saying she ‘refuses to be gaslit.’
Speaking to her sister Sophie on the show, Katie said: ‘It’s been full on [this week], but I want people to know: I own my s**t.
‘It’s very well documented, and I’ve always said how I’ve learned from my past. I’d always have a reaction to things, then it would spiral out of control, and this and that, and then spiralling out of control would make more headlines.

Peter hit out at Katie’s ‘baseless lies over the last 16 years’ in a blistering social media statement on Thursday

Katie later responded to Peter’s bombshell statement with a bizarre Instagram post about ‘fake Sinners who play the victim’

Just days later, Katie was left ‘blindsided’ after ex Alex released a video of the then-bankrupt star counting wads of cash
‘I’m so at peace with everything. At. Peace. I don’t need to rise to people, and what I say on my podcast is generally my opinion, what I feel, and I don’t lie about anything. Nothing.’
‘Everything’s in my lawyer’s hands now,’ Katie defiantly added. ‘I’m not being bullied or gaslighted anymore from anybody.’
Taking a swipe at her exes, Katie declared: ‘I find people from my past still go beyond about me. It’s like, are they all that’s obsessed? Just chill out and get on with your own life.’
The star went onto address speculation about her relationship with her son Junior and daughter Princess, insisting that they get on well, despite claims Junior has tried to ‘disassociate’ from his mother.
Sophie praised her niece Princess for being in ‘good spirits’ about the attention she’s faced since the show aired.
Katie then added: ‘She knows the score, she knows what it’s like, but she also knows, because we always talk, we know that everything’s not always what it seems.
‘I love my kids, and that’s all that matters – and they love me.’
