Katie Price Apologizes to Fans After ‘Drunken’ Group Disrupts Show

Katie Price was forced to apologise to fans live on stage after a group of ‘drunken and disruptive’ women got kicked out of her show with Kerry Katona.

The former glamour model, 47, and Atomic Kitten star, 45, are in the midst of their tell-all tour, An Evening with Katie Price & Kerry Katona.

Katie and Kerry headed to the Floral Pavilion theatre in New Brighton, Liverpool, on Sunday for their most recent performance.

But the show reportedly descended into chaos after a ‘drunken’ group were ordered to leave by security and the police were called, delaying act two of the performance.

Security staff were reportedly seen talking to a member of the audience during the show – and despite the host saying the interval would last around 15 minutes, the commencement of the second half was delayed as security staff dealt with the group in the front row.

Soon after an unknown number of women were removed from the venue, much to the delight of the rest of the crowd who are said to have cheered.

Katie apologised to the audience for the half-an-hour break between acts, as she said: ‘Sorry about the drama. It had nothing to do with us.’

Her and Kerry explained they weren’t aware of what had happened exactly but they had been ‘watching drama unfold on a TV backstage’.

Kerry went on to call out the group who had been kicked out for ‘ruining the show for everybody else’, before the duo got back to performing hit songs.

After the show, two police cars were reportedly seen outside the theatre.

Merseyside Police confirmed to the ECHO in a statement: ‘We received a report at just before 9.10pm last night, Sunday September 7, from security staff at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton, that a number of females had been asked to leave due to drunken and disruptive behaviour.

‘It was reported that they refused to leave and continued to be verbally abusive towards staff. Enquiries into the matter are ongoing.’

DailyMail contacted the theatre for comment.

It comes after Katie revealed her plans to have ‘lots more babies’ despite her ‘eggs being f****d’ as she approaches menopause during one of their shows in Lancashire last week.

Katie has been open about wanting to grow her family and made an IVF documentary which aired earlier this year. The Channel 4 show was filmed in 2023 before her split from fiancé Carl Woods and documented the couple’s unsuccessful fertility journey.

The glamour model, who is now in a relationship with JJ Slater, 31, said despite her advancing age there were ‘still ways’ she could have a baby and wanted ‘as many’ as she could.

Katie is mother to Harvey, 23, from her relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke, while she shares her eldest daughter, Princess, 18, and son, Junior, 20, with ex-husband Peter Andre.

She later welcomed two more children – Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11 – with her second husband, Kieran Hayler.

Speaking during the Q&A section of her show with Kerry in Lancashire on Saturday, the ex-glamour model was asked advice about being pre-menopausal.

Katie said: ‘I’m going through it. I had a blood test – so I still want more kids – but my eggs are f***ed now to cut a long story short, it happens to all of us.

‘Just because your eggs are old and they won’t really give you, like, a baby. I can still carry a baby, so there’s still ways that I can have babies and I will have more.’

According to The Mirror, she continued: ‘I’ll have as many as I can still, and I will, so you’ve heard it, I’m gonna have lots of babies.’

A representative for Katie declined to comment when contacted by the Daily Mail.
