Katie Holmes was seen lighting up around her costar Joshua Jackson when shooting a scene for their new movie Happy Hour in New York City on Thursday.
The 46-year-old actress was smiling from ear-to-ear when looking at her former Dawson’s Creek cast mate; on the ’90s series she played Joey and he was Pacey.
They dated in real life too from 1998 until 1999 when they were filming the teen soaper.
And the googly eyes were not for a movie scene: Holmes was sizzling when the cameras were off too as they were seen on a busy sidewalk.
The chemistry was palpable as they looked at each other and joked around while chatting with the crew.
Fans have gone online to remark on Holmes’ bubbly mood when around her ex. ‘She looks like she is still in love with him,’ said one fan while another chimed in: ‘She has the feels for this dude, can’t blame her, he is certainly cute!’ Then there was this: ‘I am in love with how in love she is with Pacey.’
Another fan added: ‘This dude needs to put a ring on it ASAP: Katie is the catch of the century. You won’t find better.’

Katie, who has an 19-year-old daughter Suri by ex-husband Tom Cruise, wore a pale gray tank top over a black bra, dark slacks, brown boots and a pink plaid shirt tied around her waist.
The cover girl wore her hair up in interesting knots and little makeup on to show off her natural beauty.
Jackson was dressed for comfort in a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black boots.
Dawson’s Creek ended in 2003 after six seasons.
They also struck up a romance off-camera, with Katie and Joshua dating during the early years of the show.
Katie told Rolling Stone in 1998: ‘I’m just going to say that I met somebody last year, I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable.
‘I feel so fortunate because he’s now one of my best friends. It’s weird, it’s almost like a Dawson-and-Joey type thing now.
‘He’s been in the business so long, and he’s really helped me. I respect him as a friend and as a professional.’
Recently Katie gushed about her friendship with Joshua in an Instagram post, writing: ‘I am so very grateful to be working again with so many of my wonderful friends on this film HAPPY HOURS.
‘And working with Josh after so many years is a testament to friendship.’

Holmes has had a high-profile love life that has made headlines for decades.
She was very serious with American Pie actor Chris Klein; the started dating in year 2000, got engaged in 2003 and broke up in 2005.
Katie started dating Tom Cruise in 2005 and got engaged to him seven weeks into the relationship.
Their wedding was held in Italy in November 2006, seven months after Suri was born.
Katie filed for divorce in 2012 and it was finalized just 10 days later, with Katie retaining primary custody of Suri while Tom was granted visitation, via People.
Tom has not been pictured with his daughter in 12 years. He now dates Ballerina actress Ana de Armas.
Jackson married actress Jodie Turner-Smith in 2019 and they divorced in 2023. He has also been linked to Lupita Nyong’o.

Katie and Joshua’s new movie is a trilogy about love and marriage.
This comes just as her daughter Suri is preparing to go back to college for her sophomore year; the new school year begins on August 25.
Last year daughter Suri began college at Carnegie Mellon, after graduating from New York’s famous LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts earlier this year.
The high school, which was said to have inspired the movie Fame, has churned out a formidable array of celebrities over the years.
Notable alumni range from Al Pacino and Liza Minnelli to Jennifer Aniston and Adrien Brody to newer faces like Ansel Elgort and Timothee Chalamet.
Suri is now attending the prestigious college Carnegie Mellon, where she is said to be ‘leaning towards’ studying fashion.
‘She is a smart girl, and she is turning into a very intelligent mature young woman,’ an insider recently revealed to the Daily Mail.
‘She has a very close group of loyal friends, and she knows exactly where she comes from.’
