Katie Holmes achieved a new milestone in her career as a busy working actress living in New York City on Sunday – a close encounter with famed homeless-man-turned-actor, Craig ‘Radioman’ Castaldo.
The 74-year-old Brooklyn native frequently presents gifts to his celebrity admirers and, this time, he handed the 46-year-old Dawson’s Creek alum a FedEx envelope.
The mystery package included Craig’s phone number along with the handwritten note: ‘Thank you Katie. Love, Radioman.’
Castaldo – who used to wear a radio around his neck – has made over 300 cameo appearances in films and TV shows including Amy Schumer’s upcoming comedy Kinda Pregnant and a season three episode of Max’s And Just Like That.
The longtime SAG member runs an Instagram account @therealradioman documenting his celebrity encounters, including with Nicole Kidman on December 16 and Cher on November 21.
In 2012, Craig – who once attended the Oscars with Whoopi Goldberg – got his very own Radioman documentary directed by Mary Kerr in which George Clooney, Josh Brolin, and Meryl Streep recalled his playful harassment on their sets.

For her Sunday outing, Katie went full grunge in a brown flannel shirt over a grey sweater, baggy blue jeans, and $200 Autry ‘Medalist Low-Top’ sneakers.
Holmes also wore a touch of lip gloss along with brown-framed sunglasses and a charoal-colored knit beanie as she clutched a Starbucks cup.
The empty nester will soon conclude her role as homemaker Myrtle Webb in Kenny Leon’s Broadway revival of Thornton Wilder’s 1938 Pulitzer Prize-winning play, which closes this Sunday at the Barrymore Theatre in Midtown Manhattan.
‘I’m so lucky I get to come to Grover’s Corners six days a week,’ Katie gushed in a BTS video posted Monday.
‘We’re not playing to the specifics of the New Hampshire accent. [Myrtle] gets great satisfaction and joy from nurturing her family. We’re all in it together and it does give that sense that this is all a community, every single show, it’s a new community. And that, I think, is very powerful.’
The 28-strong, multi-racial cast of the strictly-limited engagement includes Big Bang Theory alum Jim Parsons and Juror #2 actress Zoey Deutch.
Our Town marks Holmes’ first professional acting gig since playing movie star Julia Cheever in Roundabout Theatre Company’s off-Broadway play Wanderers, which ran from January 26, 2023–April 2, 2023 at the Laura Pels Theatre in Manhattan.
The Kamala Harris supporter previously starred in two prior Broadway productions for The Shubert Organization – Arthur Miller’s All My Sons at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in 2008-2009 and Theresa Rebeck’s comedy Dead Accounts at the Music Box Theatre in 2012-2013.
Katie is penning several screenplays and signed on to star in Dito Montiel’s thriller Captivated alongside Al Pacino, and she’ll guest star in the second season of Peacock’s murder mystery Poker Face lead by Natasha Lyonne.

On the personal front, Holmes’ daughter Suri Noelle is in her freshman year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
The 18-year-old ditched her famous father Tom Cruise’s surname, but he reportedly pays her $65K/year tuition as well as medical, dental, and insurance expenses despite not being pictured with her since his six-year marriage ended in 2012.
Some speculate the 62-year-old Oscar nominee’s alleged estrangement has to do with the mother-daughter duo ‘disavowing the Church of Scientology’ and devotees don’t associate with SPs (suppressive people).
The Ohio-born beauty – who received no spousal support – went on to date Tom’s Collateral co-star Jamie Foxx from 2013-2019, and he declared he’ll date ‘no more white girls’ in his December 10th Netflix special.
Katie has been single since ending her eight-month romance with bass player Bobby Wooten III in 2022.
