She’s the pushy but pristine school mum who scatty Bridget Jones pokes fun at in her latest hit movie.
Perfect Nicolette – as Bridget calls her – drives a 4×4, dresses in cream and has two beautifully turned-out children who are gifted musicians.
She is one of the other mums at the North London school attended by Bridget’s children Billy and Mabel.
Throughout the film, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, Perfect Nicolette, played by Leila Farzad, is portrayed as rather irritating. She is seen lambasting her egotistical husband, who is constantly on his phone to work.
And now sources on the movie have given a clue as to who writer Helen Fielding’s inspiration behind Perfect Nicolette may have been: singer Myleene Klass, 46.
Insiders say that the two women know each other from the school gates. Like Bridget Jones, Ms Fielding was an older mum, after becoming pregnant at 48, while Ms Klass was in her late 20s when she had her eldest daughter, Ava, now 17.
The women have children the same age, who for a time went to the same school.
The source said: ‘Myleene is one of those annoyingly perfect people, just like Nicolette.

Sources on the movie have revealed that the inspiration behind the character is singer Mylene Klass (pictured)
‘You can imagine that she has got it all together so well that it would be easy for other parents to poke fun at her at the school gates.
‘The similarities are uncanny and it is very much thought that Myleene was the inspiration behind Nicolette.
‘Nicolette boasts about how good her children are at music, and Myleene has encouraged her daughters to play the piano. In fact, she has posted videos of them playing several times.’
The Bridget Jones creator, 67, lives near to Ms Klass, who catapulted to fame 25 years ago on the ITV talent show Popstars, in fashionable North London.
On-set sources say that Ms Fielding ‘was heavily involved’ in the filming.
In 2015, Ms Klass fell out with other school mums after she posted on social media mocking emails two of them had sent suggesting that other parents club together to buy their children birthday gifts.
Her sarcastic response – she said she was going to collect money to buy her daughter Ava, then seven, a unicorn for her birthday – led to a confrontation with one of the mothers at the £5,000-a-term school she attended.
Ms Klass said she was collecting money towards a ‘real, live unicorn’ for Ava, and added: ‘I’d like a Ferrari and Leonardo DiCaprio, so by all means, do feel obligated to contribute to this too.’
Ms Farzad found herself in the spotlight in 2023 when she was involved in a love triangle with her co-star from BBC drama Better, Andrew Buchan, who is married to former Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall.
The pair split and Ms Farzad reunited with her husband, James Maizels.
