Kathy Hilton and her husband Rick were seen for the first time following a break-in at their home, as they boarded a flight out of Los Angeles on Friday.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 66, and the real estate tycoon, 70 — who are the parents of Paris and Nicky Hilton — made their way through LAX and revealed they are doing ‘okay’ following the ordeal.
Kathy also revealed what happened when the three burglars broke into their mansion on Saturday, while she was away at BravoCon in Las Vegas.
The reality TV star said that the recent rainy weather in the city ended up working in their favor.
‘The only thing I’ll say it was pretty good. By the time they got up, it was raining. Our security was checking a leak,’ she said while chatting with a photographer at the airport.
‘And so he came up and they all met up, and they ran,’ the star added.

Rick added that the ‘police are on top of it.’
When they were questioned about their alarm systems, Kathy replied, ‘When somebody is going outside, you turn it off.’
‘We have all of that,’ Rick added, as Kathy said that they also have private security.
They were then asked if they would have to think twice about posting their whereabouts on social media, so as not to make their home an easy target for burglars who might see that they are out of town.
‘Well, that was my job. You know, I had to do that,’ Kathy said of her social media presence, adding she never discloses where she is at.
The couple were then asked if they keep a gun in the house and if they are ‘gun people’ to which Rick replied, ‘very much.’
Kathy later added, ‘Just as long as everybody’s safe, that’s it.’
The star looked chic in a green, blue and pink floral dress at the airport.

Oddly, Sutton Stracke, 54 – who is on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills too – also had an incident at her home on Saturday; Kathy seen with daughter Nicky and Sutton on November 16
She paired the outfit with sandals and a pair of sunglasses.
Meanwhile Rick opted for a grey sweatshirt, black pants and Nike sneakers.
Rick was the one who called 911 and said there were three burglars inside their home, TMZ reported on Monday.
The police reportedly arrived and looked around the property, but the alleged burglars had already left the grounds. The site claimed that they did not know if anything was taken.
Oddly, Sutton Stracke, 54 – who is on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills too – also had an incident at her home on Saturday, but earlier in the day at 2 pm.
On Saturday at around 2 pm Sutton’s dogwalker called 911 and said the kitchen window was broken. Police came and took a police report, the site reported. It is not know if any items were taken from the home.
When at BravoCon on Friday, Hilton was seen with Stracke at the Hilton at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
Also there was Hilton’s sister and former Housewives costar Kyle Richards.
Other Housewives stars such as Erika Jayne, Anthony Allen Ramos, Bozoma Saint John, Dorit Kemsley and Rachel Zoe were also there.

Kathy’s sprawling home was decked out in holiday decor including Christmas trees, wreaths, and life-size nutcrackers, marking the start of the season.
Her Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills costars like Denise Richards, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Camille Grammer were also there.
Hilton was promoting her QVC special edition Printfresh x Kathy Hilton Collection pajama set.
Daughter Nicky Hilton, 42, was also seen.
The holiday season event benefitted Los Angeles Mission, an organization offering meals, housing, and recovery services to the unhoused community.
